The only problematic card here is the Lyri level 1 fusion monster (and probably instant fusion and verte). Hitting starving venom would achieve nothing since they got the Windwitch fusion monster which enables FTK. In addition, a genuine non-FTK pendulum magicians deck needs at least two starving venoms to build a consistent board. Pendulum magicians is a decent rogue deck in OCG since electrumite is on 1 and starving venom on 3, and as an OCG player I do enjoy playing the non-FTK pend magicians deck myself. I hope konami makes the right choice and not hit the wrong cards.
Ban Verte and Insta Fusion and 90% of the current and future problems will be solved
I think it's best to hit the lyri. I only see ftk decks using this monster. Lyrilusc players won't even complain about It.
I think same since zoodiac, they hitted Tyrant Neptune instead that fusion. Do they will make same mistake again?
@@l_milluc Ikr. I usually hate hitting "innocent" archetype, but in this case regular Lyrilusc didn't even play Nightingale at all. Or maybe Instant Fusion which I think the better hit since that card will be broken in near future.
@@aciesara5444 As a lyrilusc player I agree, but would prefer a verte ban. Verte enables too much degenerate plays and ftks.

@@billcipher826 it's not, you need a lot of monsters on the field to this, so you need to get electrumite early and you need to have the abyss actor monster that special summon itself to get consistently. Before i was even running into the void + upstart goblin and allure of darkness, but it's still not consistent enough

Verte Anaconda is banned in TCG & OCG, so this FTK will die when the same happens in Master Duel. However, Tyrant Neptune is also banned in all formats because of *Independent Nightingale!* That card's not even popular in Lyrilusc decks & should've been banned ages ago to prevent abuse like this
Verte doesn't need to be banned
Just cards that enable the ftk like nightingale or limit supreme king starving venom
Spright Rank 2 can summon gale dogra then sent bird to GY and still ftk
Tyrant Neptune should be banned with it too since they’re both just ftk enablers
Anconda which is enable to negate is the problem what about the birds in both sides i think they need to ban every winged beast card

Next banlist is probably after they use the Duelist Cup to identify problem cards for ladder play. Surprised Verte hasn't been hit because of the Branded Fusion interaction yet. Also curious if and how they're gonna deal with the dumb stuff Rhongo does under Sales Ban.
It's because the branded fusion Verte strategy isn't used alot. Not to mention it takes extra deck space which some decks can't afford. Doubt it'll be banned.
Rhongo they might not touch because the sales ban stuff makes floo more inconsistent
@@zekiel2533 Yeah people keep talking about the sales ban Rhongo deck but it's really not that great. It's a worse version of Floo and would be a worse version of any other deck doing it. It's a gimmick like Exodia.

When Verte was in everyone's deck and we all cried it wasn't banned, so I don't think its gonna be banned when its barely used anymore. That Sales ban Rhongo stuff too is barely used, very expensive and its bricky. Banning Verte and Rhongo will literally do nothing to change the meta or address the health of the game, tbh I don't think anything needs to be hit, we just need new cards to come out and some cards unrestricted off the banlist. Verte will only be banned if they decide to unban Dragoon imo

You don't need to be creative to see how an easily accessible monster that copies effects of anything in your grave or on the field is going to be broken sooner or later.
This deck is also very old and I've used it for a long time. The new cards made the combos of it more guaranteed, when before you would gamble to draw what you needed. More fun that way. This one you go first or second you set up a decent board or win without gamble, lame lol.
Maxx C in floo doesn't auto end turn bc they cannot Nibiru the same turn they use floo effects so it doesn't make sense to run Nib and if thats the case why would you care if you can OTK

Just ban nightgale and no more problem. Kill our 2 starving is kill our recovery set up and our harbringer of hope. So if you kill our recovery at least with it ban branded fusion, ban mohi of swordsoul player, ban eldlish and ban the floo lvl 7 and we be fair to accept it
Supreme king Straving fusion needs to be banned imo and nightingale at 1 honestly, why starving banned because the fucker can copy any card effect for f sake

He is use only for electromite extend or the ftk to make harbringer of hope who permit pend magician player to réserve baron for other than dark ruler no more who litteraly instant kill all our deck or nibiru.
This ftk has been around for quite some time and you don't even need the new cards to do it. Literally just summon 6 monsters (4 must be dark pendulums). Make 2 venoms and a verte and boom, ftk.

The problem is in this deck u can make a decent board even ure not going for ftk or ur ftk failed. As u can see he can bring out bagooska, apollo, baronne, probably also accescode

by itself Pendulun Magician is good and funny, but the first turn kill is toxic and boring. Imo they must ban or the Assembled nightingale fusion, since anyone isn't using it except for Pendulum Magician such as Barrier Statue for Floowanderees, or Limit Starving Venom to 1 so that you can only deal 4000 point of damage and not 8000 anymore or they can ban instant fusion .

@@theolailheugue9402 That's actually a lot more broken interaction than this FTK. Being able to copy any card bypasses a lot of hard once per turn clause and can easily be abused if Konami decides to print a good target for it

Someone said in twitch chat "what a waste of money investing in digital cards": I disagree in the point that: yep it's kinda stupid spending that amount of money but digital cards wont get damaged or disappear, the only risk is getting their account hacked and in the other side: your beautiful paper cards are more easily to get robbed/damaged or lose value! ;)

I run Odd Eyes Magician Pendulum: This was a FTK in the TCG but I didn't run that build. Also the Supreme King Dragon Starving Venom I don't use in master duel at all, I run My TCG deck in master duel the only ban card I run is Electrum which is at 1 on master duel.
So then how do you summon Zarc?

@@Honest_Mids_Masher with pend magicians using timestar xyz you can mill the magicians to summon zarc via astro or chronograph. Even better if you have the trap with purple poison so you can move zarc to the pendelum zone

Edit: Wow, 1st place is 43 card deck. You don't often get a 1st place with cards between 40 and 60, if ever.

@@taco2515 if anything Starving venom SK to 1. TCG has starving Venom SK banned because of that OTK combo, we can still get a play into Num 38 hope harbinger with other lvl 8s, its just the current use of the SKSV and lyralisc that sucks.

The metal foes link really annoys me because it's just the aurora/crystron of pendulums. Like you hardly see a pendulum deck that doesn't go into the exact same combo
Then demand to limit to 1 token per turn swordsoul player, ban branded fusion, ban dpe, ban ash, ban max c, ban nib, ban dark ruler no more, limit to 1 eldlish and ban the hand trap trap with infinity in his art and after that we can killing the card that make live all the pend archetype and make then a minimum consistance.
Crystron and electrumite were meant to both synchros and pendulums. At least electrumite stays in the decks that were meant to use it

That many negates is just sickening. Call me toxic, idc, but when I'm playing (below platinum) and my opponent has that many negates on the field, i always elect to lose via time.
☝️ this way, I'm frustrating an annoying POS player and preventing others from this fate for 5 minutes. Win-win imo
I understand people play these decks cuz they think it's making them competitive but What does playing shut down decks honestly prove? cause if I see someone playing a shut down deck I'm just going to assume you don't want the smoke. When people play decks like these no one having fun.

Oh and BTW since you're curious Im currently running ritual beast an Nordics only thing that is disruption in them is ash blossom and usual stuff that's in like literally every deck. 🤣
@@FunkyMonkey444 if these decks are legal people will play them. I like pendulum decks and yeah this version is boring af. You'll literally get bored out of your mind playing this in succession, that being said I have no problems using this in ranked to speed up the climbing and not having to deal with all the stupid decks other players come up with that would literally get mopped by anything on a proper match structure play. Some people will play these decks if they understand they have a better chance at winning tournaments with them. And this is still an interruptible deck, Rhongo decks are actually worse because if you don't do anything, they don't kill you straight out but you get to play one turn where none of your cards do anything, at least the FTK decks just get the job done in one turn and that's that.
