- If you have the same issue with your iPad screen blinking and flickering you can try out my fix. It will not cost you any money.
Why is my iPad screen flashing:
Turn off Auto-Brightness to Repair that iPad Screen Keeps Flickering. It is possible that you turn on Auto-Brightness, which causes the iPad screen to flicker. The feature of Auto-Brightness is that iPad can automatically adjust brightness of the screen according to the ambient light.
How to enable or disable auto-brightness in iPhone/iPad
1. Open 'Settings' To turn off this feature, head to the Settings on your iOS device.
2. Open General settings.
3. Go to 'Accessibility' settings.
4. Now, open 'Display Accommodations'
5. Look for Auto-brightness option.
6. Turn off the Auto Brightness.
7. Open Control centre to change the brightness level.

How do you fix a flickering iPad screen:
Tip 1: Turn the iPad over and Press Its Back Side.
Tip 2: Turn off Auto-Brightness on iPad.
Tip 3: Reduce Motion and Transparency.
Tip 4: Hard Reset Your iPad.
These adjustments improve the performance of the iPad device to a large extent. You can make the adjustments by following the steps below.
Step 1: From the different options available on the main screen, tap on "Settings".
Step 2: Proceed to tap on "General" and then on "Accessibility".
Step 3: From here, select "Increase Contrast" option and move the slider in front of "Reduce Transparency" to enable it.
Step 4: Go back to the "Accessibility" options and move the slider in front of "Reduce Motion" to enable it.
It is possible that you turn on Auto-Brightness, which causes the iPad screen to flicker. The feature of Auto-Brightness is that iPad can automatically adjust brightness of the screen according to the ambient light. So when the feature is enabled, the screen may flash because of the change of ambient light.

Yeah. The LCD will break and will burn up thats why its flickering. Dont put it on tight and hot places.

Wow this actually works. The people that disliked either didnât knock hard enough, didnât knock long enough, or just straight up have cracked screens and expected a quick fix.
I did this a couple of weeks ago and it didnât work, I tried again yesterday and it still didnât work then a couple of hours passed and it was as good as new. Screen is working well now, thank you for this.

Thanks for sharing this. I have flickering screen issue on my ipad 5th gen. I have never dropped it, never mishandled it. Earlier I used to leave for somedays, once the battery ran out , I would restart it and it would run just fine. I tried as per your video and on second attempt Boom...it started working.

The first time I tried to knock didn't do anything, probably because I had a case...
Second time it minimized the flicker, It didn't remove it entirely, probably because I was knocking it too lightly
Third time, It worked!.. The flicker was virtually gone...it still flickers but very rarely, Now I just have to Remove the 2-3 Lines
Edit: It still Glitches, but a knock or three will erase it for a while

1. it looks like a lightbulb on one side is flickering but only that one
2. solution was to up the brightness because i always had it set very low (my room is dark) and the flickering went away
3. theory is that my brightness is broken on lower settings ( i donât know why) but on higher settings itâs stable and not flickering

Wow thank you, I had a black 1 inch line on the side of mine. It didn't fix it all the way ,but the black line disappeared and it's only a few scrambled color lines now. Way way better ,not only can I use it again for filling out online documents without having to spin the damn thing in a 360 just to read everything and sign , I can get back to playing games on it too đ€đ

I have also traces of previously used software or webpages reflecting on teal time screen the colors got funny as well and at times it blinking with horizontal lines ...the whole thing is analyzing and started out of the blue one day

Do I have to take it out of its case. Because yesterday I put my iPad on my couch but it fell off and now it's turned like the color of a green screen and purple when I go on my apps and safari hope it sorts itself out and turned back to the color it should be.
