Loving these videos! Hands down the best way to review them! Keep it up. Thanks!
2021 BLUE SRX is the nicest looking snowmobile on the planet period. Did I say BLUE
Love the SRX!!! Especially in BLUE!!
Man that sled just looks , sounds … plan an simply awesome! :)
Great video !! Love that sled, and love the blue !! 😎👍
Beautiful sled! I'm a Viper guy and that thing sounds awesome!! If I won the lottery I might have one lol.
Damn that is a beautiful machine... I'm a polaris guy and I own a polaris Race sled on asphalt, but I would LOVE to own this same exact sled and put it on the asphalt and enjoy it and when I feel like putting it back on the trails I could! Great job yamaha
@@mikeskidmore6754 super sled shootout with the bikes as well is October 2-4 and check out the M.S.A.D.R.A bracket group we race at mid Michigan come out and have a good ass time 🤟🤟
Now that I see it in BLUE, I kinda like it in black .
Did they put a drain plug on the chain case this time?
Love the hands on videos, instead of the canned professional rider videos.
Rode and raced a 2001 SRX hard for 10400km.(just passed it on) Today I own the Apex, but gawd damn I still dream of todays SRX! Apex will jump the hole, and top at 178km. SRX, goes as fast as you wanna go beyond 200km per hour!,!, daily. Historical snowmobile
Everybody knows the turbos are fast but how does it handle in the tight twisty trails?
Question for STV: does the primary clutch still have the obnoxious rattle at idle>>>>>>?????
How do the ride compare to Polaris Axis or Matrix?
Gorgeous sled 🛷
Seen one of these back in 2015 and could never get my mind off it. I had a 98' Mach 1 700 then ( 2015 ), Yamaha Sidewinder will be my next choice turbo of course.
2015? Sidewinder only came out in 2016/17 season. Got this off the web: 2017
Released in 2017, The Yamaha Sidewinder was the first snowmobile to sport a turbocharged 4-stroke engine with nickel alloy turbine triple throttle bodies. Its carefully planned segments were the best during its time, immediately exceeding consumer expectations
bring back the tripple two stroke. best sounding sled ever
What Color is that Sled?? Great video... Awesome sled.
Very nice machines 👍
wait whats the color again?
How much $. Love the quietness like my 1200 touring skidoo. Have to plan your corners with mine also.
yes, everyone has to plan corners. He was not going at speeds other sleds could not doo. I have 2 1200's and I like them better than this sled because I don't need arm stretching speed. Not worth 18k USD
Like the Hellcat of snowmobiles people will be bouncing off trees getting too throttle happy 😂
What are your other favorite sleds?
Who else prefers the 2020 SRX in black? The original SRX 440 was black in 1979 to 1981.
My 78 was red and white with a black hood, the radiator kept it cool on icy trails
Yes a SRX must be in blue.
Can you tow wood with this?
Jeff, is it blue? I'm just wondering if it's blue or if it's blue? With the new gauge packages from Doo and Polaris, that gauge cluster looks ancient.
yep, but who cares, this sled looks awesome, and I don't know about you but I Sincerely do not need Nav on the trails. If I did , I have my Garmin InReach I carry for safety reasons anyway …. I would give up fancy gauge package for the fit/finish and sexiness of this machine any day!! Just saying.... I take the sexy Girl even if she does not have a mobile phone... hehe
Srx should be black, red, gold. Aka 1979,80. Blue is OK, blue Yamaha started in the 90’s.
lmtada which I happen to have the 99 srx700 In very very good condition. I get many compliments from ppl about it.
mxr congrats on blue SRX. Now imagine that 99 SRX 700 done in a retro BLack, Gold, Red trim. Your compliments would Triple........plus some of those Polaris, Cat dudes would give you more respect. Lol......cheers enjoy your SRX awesome machine.👍
lmtada this winter a guy owned both cat and Polaris and absolutely loved my sled. He told my friend he wanted to race me. So one night we went to his house and he said how badass the sled looked then I popped the hood then his eyes got really wide. Then I said take it for a spin ya he came back and said no way his sled is keeping up with it. I have newer sleds but I love getting that one out cause it sounds so cool plus they rip corners fast.
First and does it come in blue ?
Put snow trackers on, your front end is all over place.
Hey Jeff, you sure it’s blue?
My buddy's 19 is blue. What's the big deal?
Kevin McCaffrey they were blue in 19 then black in 20... back to blue in 21! Just makes it feel more like a “SRX” in blue
To be exact, the ORIGINAL SRX, which was first introduced in 1976, was WHITE!
Didn’t they use to call those the Beer Can sleds because the tunnels would twist so easy because they were so light and fast?
Yamacat
17k plus for it and a 35yo casio watch for an instrument cluster.
Sidewinder stx gt. Bright red
How can he not go 80mph on those gorgeously groomed trails? I'm going crazy just watching.
It’s the law and they probably have trails out there with radar cameras 📸 already 😂
Love that you Stopped doing those GOOFY hand signals. Keeping your hands on the bars is best on a busy weekend. I've touched ski's to many times in the past few years with people being concerned about hand signals.
it's nice to know how many sleds are coming... that's what the hand signals are for...
The hand signals are for everyone's safety and it's the respectful thing to do... I dont understand why you wouldn't signal other riders? If you cant take your hand off the bars for 10 seconds maybe your trying to ride above your ability...
I wanna hear what Larry Enticer has to say about it...
@@mooseknucklegarage8439 he is a way cooler guy than you, you are just mad cause you are 50 years old and he rides way better than you ever have
Just if it was a 2 stroke like the old one.
What? The fastest sled on snow and you give us a low speed crop tour?
bring back the triples
darting a lot , ??from what i see ,,he need s ski correctors, and suspension adjust properly,, mine is like on a rail , one hand steering, straight as an arrow,, awesome sled,,
srx is only white for me
sounds like my robot vacuum
That makes my pants tight lol
Nothing like a 300hp SRX picked 😅
Made by Cat!
A blue arctic cat
Lol speed limits? Must be Canada 😂
The number of idiots outriding their ability and blowing through corners on the wrong side of the trail or killing themselves by blasting trees has me worried that speed limits will become common in the US as well. I hope not. I love having the ability to open them up in the right conditions on the right trails, but I’m afraid it’s coming. If 50 or 60mph speed limits become popular I may leave the sport. Might as well just ride an atv at that point
@@jadosa29 I couldnt agree more. It takes the fun out of it. Unfortunately not everyone has enough sense to open it up only in the right conditions at the right time. Unfortunately I feel like it's only a matter if time
Jason Savage If you read the laws, there already is speed limits, 50mph i think, at least in Michigan anyways, they aren’t enforced very well.
Mit Lei we don’t have them on the trails I ride in Pa yet for the most part except for a few areas we share with cross country skiers or resort traffic. I do ride for a week in the UP every year though. Never saw a speed limit sign outside of in the towns so I assumed it was like my home trails. The thought of having to ride the railroad grade at 50 mph is not pleasant. Being stuck to a 50 mph speed limit would kill business up there. We plan our days by what towns we want to be in for lunch and dinner. If we’re poking down the trail it’ll limit our range quite a bit. Hopefully they stay lax on that for a while
Jason Savage Like I said, not enforced, I suspect many states have them, even though no signage.
That's the problem with this sled. If you have to plan your turns it's unpredictable. The skidoo and Polaris sleds absolutely rips at all turns and stops.
A real Srx is white and red
Waves to Polaris rider but screw ski doo riders
Just buy a cat and rap-it blue.
its a cat
Booooo! One inch track. No thanks.
That's what U want for speed, it's a trail sled mountain sleds R slow on trails, I have one. I miss my 83 V-MAX, it would make your eyes water on the straights
Never trust a dude who wears a mono suit.
Blah, blah. Where is the run in the powder?
1 inch track makes it good for nothing with that amount of power. What is this 1994
The SRX is a speed machine. Adding just .25 you can lose quite a bit of speed. If you want versatile they make crossovers with 2.25 inch tracks.
@@shperax I wanna see the proof .25 makes a diff. I bet it can still do 180km a hour with a 1.25 track
@@LifeWideOpen780 it's really just as simple as. >You add track weight, you lose HP in the top end.< You lose HP across the entire band but it's just more noticable on the top end.
@@shperax I get if you add a inch but .25 ain't doing shit to your top speed
You can get it in any color you want as long as it’s blue!😒👎👎
At least when you buy any of the other brands you can get quite a few different colors!!
Yeah have your blue but at least offer some variety.
Sooooooooooooooooooo tired of yamaha repeating the same thing for 15 years!!
I’m blue in the face!
I don’t like Yamaha
Yamaha Blue 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
With the improvements they have done to this sled, this has got to be one of the best trail sleds on the market today
I agree
Turn it on! Wanna see some acceleration
It IS the best trail sled on the market.
