I have the CT blushes in the shades ecstasy, first love, pillow talk, walk of no shame snd even the beauty light wand in Pinkgasm (great as a liquid blush). They will always be some of my favorite blushes! I use them all the time ❤️

I love CT’s older products the best Tbh. The sophisticate. Exaggereyes and vintage vamp are my faves. Plus the liquid matte lipsticks that no one talks about anymore. I hope they don’t get discontinued Bc I like them more than the solid lipsticks.
There is honestly no substitute for the original Charlotte products. I agree entirely. They were just magical. 💕

This was so nice to hear. Within the last couple of years, I started to really get into makeup. So last year, I really built up my collection. Lol So this year, I’m being more picky/selective about the things I buy. I’m trying to pick up only things that I don’t have (that I’ve wanted for months) or just the things that really speak to me packaging/shade wise that may be limited edition (the things that really will disappear lol). I’ve been eyeing these blushes for awhile. It’s nice to see a current review. Online reviews have mentioned the blushes breaking easily. That has held me off from buying one. Have you had an issue with that? Thank you for sharing such a positive message!😊
Hi Chrissy. Interestingly enough, I have had one break. Only because it was open and I knocked it onto my tiled bathroom floor. Haha. That one was on me. Added a few drops of rubbing alcohol and pressed it right back into shape. I let it dry and voila! I’ve traveled with them, thrown them into handbags, etc. no breakage. No more so than other blushes. You are safe!!! 💕 💕

I own and adore the CT Pillow talk blush! I reach for it with almost every look to the point I have to tell myself to give it a break and let my other blushes some love too! I do have to admit when I 1st got it I wasn't sure about it.... but the more I have used it the better it looked..not sure why that is for me but Anyways, you look Beautiful as Always ❤

There’s just no substitute for Charlotte’s face powder products and these blushes, though loved, are never really given enough credit, I don’t think. The peachier tones in these are so infinitely wearable!!!! 💕
This was so fun to watch. I have the 4 CT blushes in first love, PT, Ecstasy and WONS. I’ve had my eye on the climax blush for such a long time and it looks like it can serve as a bronzer and blush but I’m afraid it might be a little too deep on my light-medium skin tone. I have been using a lot of my cream blushes but I should definitely revisit them, they are all so beautiful 😍😘
I totally use climax (when it’s here) as a kind of bronzey blush in the warm months!!! It’s lovely. 💕 💕

Yes, julie. Pigmented similarly to the WoNS. Exactly. And similar to the Patrick Ta blush in that it’s kind of a bronzed summer blush. That slightly deeper red tone 💕

At Glossier (pre pandemic) an assistant said “This is the most natural color...” and I said “Actually I’m looking for something a little UNnatural,” which pleased him. I wanted a bit of a Marie Antoinette look. I think blush can be a bit more fun.
Absolutely! And I think that changes with the time. It used to be that blush should look just like a natural flush. Now we are wearing much more obvious shades. Case in point, Fenty purple blush. 💜

They are so pretty truly because they can be just a happy hint (for a super subtle look) or really saturated. 💕
First of all I have to say, I loved how the slightest touch of the pop colour left a little dot of blush on your cheek, so cute☺️
Secondly I have been contemplating re distributing my CT collection to my family (especially one of my nieces) & friends (you know the story of my battle with customer services) However your video is so timely because the only items I am unsure about giving away are 4 blushers 😊💕

I love CT blushes! I have Pillow Talk & Ecstasy which I use frequently because they are amazing blushes. I am also a fan of the blush that is in the Hourglass quad this past holiday.
I will admit when I find something I like I will stay with it, I am loyal like that. lol CT blushes have the perfect balance of not being flat & not being blinding frost, if I want a glow I will add highlight. I am happy you chose the Sex On Fire because I have been considering that shade. I like how it looks on since it is actually darker than it appears online on her her site. I will say the same is the case for Ecstasy which is far more beautiful on than the pictures make it appear. Her blushes can be faint or they can be built up which is something that I like in a blush as opposed to wanting my shadows to have more payoff out the gate.
As much as I love the Pillow Talk blush I can't say the same thing for the eyeshadow quad or liner. This no fault or the product but I am fair/light with genetic dark circles which the colors just fade into. I think I would have the same issue with the Walk Of No Shame (should have kept the original name) which is just a bit deeper than Pillow Talk's range. I wish CT would do a cooler tone purple which would show on my coloring as opposed to the warmer pink brown which is apparently the shade my circles are. lol I am not asking for electric purple but a cooler base tone so she wouldn't be venturing far from are classic range. That is another thing I will say about the brand itself, it is classic which means you can have it for years & it will always be in style.
For anyone looking to be cautious with how their money is being spent this would be something to consider with purchases. It might be harder to justify dropping a larger amount on something that will be a passing trend son that might be something to consider purchasing something from a less costly brand. There are so many drops anymore as opposed to years ago when a brand would have their line which was something that was unchanged for years. I actually think it was easier in the past as now we see so much waste when it comes to products since some are used at times only a couple of times. I have no idea where the average person even stores these products since they add up quickly. In your position it is part of your career which makes it a necessity to have the products as close to drop as possible for your review. I know some people give them away, sell them, or even donate them as a means of clearing out some space. With the current circumstances it makes doing anything less than tossing them hard.
Enough on my end, another great video! I love revisits especially classics.
Hear! Hear! You make outstanding points yet again. Let’s start with the name change of Walk of Shame. The original name was fun and bold. The new name feels too soft for me. Too apologetic. Walk of Shame brings to mind the Smokey eye from the night before and the stained lip. It’s sultry. Walk of NO Shame? Ugh. Feels like a lecture. Haha.
And yes yes yes. Classic looks. Exactly!!!! Trends should be bought at cheap prices. Drug store is fine. Spend money on classics. Charlotte has classic pretty shades.
I’m so terribly sorry the Pillow Talk doesn’t work for you. But I totally understand your predicament. Cooler tones is absolutely what you need and Charlotte can’t lay off the warm! She loves nothing more than warm ruddy browns and pinks. 💕 💕
It's good to hear someone else understanding the that there is an edge to Walk Of Shame! I wish she didn't cave on the name because it surely makes no sense because we all know the phrase & it does bring the image with it. lol I get sick of people complaining about the smallest issue when they could just carry on & enjoy their lives. I guess the older we get the more understanding of life we attain and can relate to others through our experiences. There have been some times I wondered what I was going to do or how I would get through it but I did. I do pass along the insights when possible & hopefully someone can learn from it & possibly avoid the pitfalls. There is such a focus on differences and they are made to sound insurmountable but they aren't. People have fall more in common than they realize but it is on a deeper level not just the superficial. Let me stop there as this could turn into a thesis.
On a lighter note. I'm not upset Pillow Talk doesn't work for me, it's just an issue of coloring & not all shades work for all people. Those shades I have seen work well on darker skin tones because of how light they are, they sent it off. CT has plenty of quads that do work for me but her blush I love & lipstick. I will admit I was never a lipstick person as I guess it was too much like work for me. I liked being able to pull out a gloss or balm & apply no mirror required! That drove mom crazy about me & I'm sure she would be pleased to see I now like them. haha I think my favorite is Very Victoria which is darker than I thought it would be & a good match. I also like the smell of her lipsticks they don't smell like lipsticks tend to smell. I don't know if I want to say it is almost a faint cocoa scent?

Regarding name change, I hope Charlotte didn’t go willingly. I hope she fought them on it. It’s a weak name now. Haha. 💕

Lovely blushes!!! You have such a great collection!!!!!!! I don’t own any of CT’s blushes. I am more of a contour type of person, but I agree that lately I have been craving more color. I need to try this formula, but I honestly need to use what I have first. I agree with the new new new. The industry thrives on that and, if consumption decreases, then where does the industry go?? I don’t think the industry is going anywhere, but I do see more people becoming mindful of what they already have and of what else they purchase. ♥️♥️
I haven’t picked up that First Love shade in so long and it used to be my go to. I think we are all just craving more impactful shades now. And, really, I suppose, that’s WHY the industry won’t die. The trends definitely evolve. That being said, nothing wrong with bringing “old is been again” products back to the front drawer. Use by dates? On mascara maybe. The rest is fine. Honestly. I’m sure you agree. 💕 💕 💕

To be super honest, I kept a NARS lip that smells totally rancid because I am on a mission to find a similar or identical color (it’s the most striking red I’ve ever seen). I have tons of things that used to be my go-to and now they’re just “oh, yes, I remember you!!!” Trends definitely evolve... or devolve, like I see 90s lips came back!! 😂 Dark liner with nude/light lips!! Maybe nowadays it’s not that stark of a contrast as it was in the 90s, but still... I see it quite a bit. You have inspired me to look at my blushes!!!!! I’ve become so loyal to contour that I’m neglecting the precious cheeks. Back to the drawers to explore we go!!!! 🤗🤗

It’s called Diablo and it’s literally the most striking, drop-dead gorgeous red. I can’t find an identical shade and this one is totally unusable. You know, I admit, I have yet to go down the KKW rabbit hole. Tell me what your favorites are from her releases!! I'd love to know. I hear such hot and cold things. But mostly people really really like the line. I like her too, actually. haha. :)
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty they have good eyeshadow formula and beautiful lipstick nude shades that aren't too similar to other brands. I get a bit annoyed when a celebrity that never wears makeup has a makeup line out of nowhere but Kim Kardashian is known for her makeup. Also, they ship internationally so I can get my hands on them. Their lipliner formula is creamier than mac.
Oh I agree. When the celebrity is known for their makeup, then it makes sense. And KKW (or I guess we remove the W now? Will the brand name change???) worked for so long, as you know, with Mario. I hear he even helped her launch initially, which makes sense as I love his formulas. And I know she has a bunch of new items coming up so I will absolutely sniff around them!!! I have only two CT blushes....Pillow Talk original and Love is the Drug....I have all the liquid highlighters. Her powder blushes are the best powders I've used.....when I'm not using creamy blushes. @@NotFitforPrintBeauty No it doesn't take me to the Canada site, but perhaps after all the new PML products come to Sephora it will work. The only thing that your link shows are the liquid lipsticks. I think the date for Sephora, at least here is on the 5th....so I will try again then and see what happens.

I appreciate your time in testing it for me. It’s something Sephora does within its system. UK folks can’t even browse the US site for fun. Reroutes them automatically to the French site. So it’s doing that to me when I try to create the links. Argh. I appreciate your feedback on it. Incredibly helpful!!!!! 🤗 🤗

I love CT blushes! CT and Hourglass my fav blushes. Update. Sephora took down the PM liquid lipsticks. Now says coming soon 2/5. 2nd I got an update from PM saying prob shipping my order by end of the week AKA 2/5 lol I should have just waited for that highlighter to get to Sephora I guess. Oh well I’ll survive lol
