Bro at first I thought zelda did some magic stuff to put the master sword on a dragon so it could recover hence the similarities, and I even said "this dragon kinda looks like zelda"
yeah no surprise there really, the moment the sequence played where they explained that you can turn into a dragon with the stone, it was obvious zelda would turn into one. Wish they didnt show it and put this information at the end. Would have made the reveal actually meaningful for getting the last tear
Pretty good for a base weapon tho - it also reaches 60 in boss fights and in the depths. If you fused a gibdo bone to it (it wouldn’t last long though), and it was already at 60, you would have 110 weapon power, then imagine having full attack up armour equipped, and an attack up meal!
The unitended way is through the deku tree you can just get all the tears then find the dragon and hop on without trying to beat the hands and phantom ganon for hours
There are two ways to get the sword, technically three. 1. Find it yourself. 2. Do the Deku Tree Questline and get a marker. 3. Gather the Dragon Tears and quick access. 4. If you don't do the Deku Tree Questline before you finish the Mineru questline, she will tell you the truth. (@ojjlchmianliverman6046) 5. Not that this much matters, but if you didn't find it, it's given to you for the last fight when it's barely required. :D (Almost purely for the sake of continuity.) @TheRogueCrepe-ed6ek For 1-4, have lots of stamina and a method of flight. They're all intended methods.
Fun (or not so fun) fact: you didn’t’ have to defeat gloom hands and phantom ganon to get the master sword. You just needed to fly a bit higher (using a zonai device) to get on the dragon.
Heh. Clearly SOMEONE didn’t understand the context of the fight. You MUST fight the hands as well as phantom ganon to clear the deku tree’s throat of gloom so that then, he may inform you on the location of the almighty blade, or you can go with Starblight’s thing. *Snootily laughs*
@@Enforc3r I’m not sure if it really starts flying lower, but right after you collect the last (secret) memory, the dragon flies a bit lower, but some time after that flies back up. I managed to get the master sword when the dragon was quite high. I just jumped of the top of Valor island when the light dragon was flying by, but I will still go to the lost woods and help the Great Deku Tree.
@@JustJorby I'm assuming you're joking, but the whole point of the game is that you can do anything in any order. Yeah, it would be a lot harder to get the master sword early, but as long as you have the stamina to pull it, nothing in the game stops you.
I was farming shrines in the sky saw the light dragon close and just wanted to see if you could still land on them then I saw the sword and hoped that you still didn't need hearts to take it out then did the dragon tears and the deku tree
i actually got the sword WAY before i went to see the Deku Tree and collect the fifth sage X3 IDK when or how, but considering that i try to take anything that isn't nailed down (even though it did lookit at first), i couldn't resist.
I got the master sword by seeing it on the light dragon during a memory cutscene(barely) then rushing to get it. Hadn’t been to korok forest or anything just happened to see it and GO
So actually that’s a fine way to get the sword. That path was used to help track it. Cus else wise it’s unmarked and just very hard to find/get on. Plus the trade was added for that purpose kinda.

me playing this game made me feel so dumb because i tried to battle the gloom/phantom ganon with not some of the sages (specifically mineru's and riju's and i died every time so i got the master sword by waiting for the light dragon to fly back around and i jumped from a little bit of random stuff in neculda 😭 and then i realized i probably wasn't supposed to get that yet
