For context, the track in this teaser is a mashup of Particle Arts by Virtual Self and Time by G Jones, guessing their B2B set at Second Sky is going to contain more such mashups since both of them are thematically in the same ballpark.
Hoping to see some collab IDs between them in the set as well, but this track isn't one of them
With the breakcore resurgence, it was necessary that Virtual Self come back. So hyped.
I recently got into breakcore a month ago. What's up with that? Just an algorithm thing? I'm not complaining though. I'm intrigued. The comment section from long old videos were fresh in every breakcore videos CZcams recommended me.

Like, they started out as a 4chan sh*t-head troll, and ended as a somewhat respectable artist. generic-ass troll stuff. Their first project was a joke album they named the N word to piss people off. Their last album was an earnest attempt at processing the grief of their first / only romantic partner committing suicide.
To reign it back in to your point though, a lot of people got exposed to breakcore and brooding atmospheric dnb cuz they clicked on a youtube video called 'mr. kill myself'. scum of the earth or not, they're the reason we're having this discussion in the first place.

(Minor Explanation for those uninitiated to "Porter-speak")
- Another "Second Sky" Music Festival is coming. (For those unaware, look it up here on YT, they are always amazing.)
- Porter Robinson had another project called "Virtual Self", which not many are/were aware of at the time (not even I).
- Porter will be playing songs from Virtual Self at this event!
- If you want to know more about said project, you'll be able to find the music released for it here on YT.
P.S. I state that it's a "project" because it wasn't just an album, he had a Channel dedicated to this, although my memory is fuzzy on everything as I only found out about it late into things, and by the time I decided to check it out Nurture had already released. Wow, time does fly.
So for who were curious as to what was going on, there ya go. Also, if you've been paying attention to the Community Tab, you might've noticed the recent announcements of other features for Second Sky.
(This isn't a knock on Porter's cryptic messages when announcing and releasing stuff mind you, actually, I absolutely love this stuff, but I thought I'd explain this one for people who don't know about the live event or the announcements surrounding it. Dunno if it'll be live on YT, hope so! Also, a lot of people don't know much about Virtual Self, so I know it might go over a lot of people's heads.)
