The little boy on your hike is super cute!
Wat Banan is one of the classic Khmer empire temples in Battambang, the other is Wat ek Phnom which is also a must place to visit. Make sure you go before 4pm to catch the old fortune teller who hangs out in the Wat in front of the ruins. I have some land across the river from Wat Banan, so I go often. Love the exercise walking up
