love this band and have HIGH respect for their skill level! Even though my style of playing as a bassist is quite different from hers, Misaki is a bassist I look up to. Absolutely insane!

Misaki FUJIWARA mainly plays on Mayones Jabba Classic 4 bass guitar, made in Poland.

Barely two years that I know Sokoninaru, but they have completely turned my head! Which music ! what musicians!!!
But while I love their entire repertoire (including covers), there are two songs that grab my attention the most: the apocalyptic "Metalin" (Misaki's voice! that voice! that voice!) and the dazzling "Moment lament"...
    And finally, many others too...
    Best wishes from France.

I saw them tonight in concert in Sendai on their first concert of their Japanese tour, they were absolutely amazing...they nailed every song perfectly, stunning.

Lots to choose from Sokoninaru. LOVE this band. Along with what's been recommended already ("Tenohira De Odoru" is a MUST), they recently released two new songs, "Saitei" and (I believe) "Enlighten". Both are great! And also throw out there "Brilliant City" and "white for", which are both a bit different. Thanks Frank! 🕊

Yes, Sokoninaru is very, very good band. I learned about them from my Japanese friend, and he told me that first time he heard them in one small venue with only 20-30 people inside, some time ago. They sound perfectly, like they play on MV (nothing unexpected for Japanese musicians), and after they finish people ask them to play more. Of course, they come back and continue to play, but before that bass girl told them that they haven't much songs, and if is it OK to play some of them, again! Amazing! I can't imagine something similar in our Europe! Later, I listen some of their live performances, and yes! They sound the same like on MV's. Sometimes, even better!

This not even their fastest song. Please react more of them. I recommend their 300bpm song "Sokoninaru - Kyokugen ha setsuna". If you curious of their live, i suggest "Sokoninaru - Vortex" Live. Thanks

Wow! I've been enjoying seeing a reactor like yourself get deeper into a lesser known band, Asterism, and literally thought "the only thing better would be Sokoninaru", and then this video appears!
Hard to believe Sokoninaru pull this stuff off live but I have a live DVD of theirs and they absolutely do. I envy people who have been to see them.

thanks for watching, really appreciate it! 👍I think I might start making "charts" type of videos to talk about the most known and lesser known japanese bands!

They have to be my favorite discovery through CZcams, it's just amazing to me that this sort of music can sound so friggin' good.
It's so all over the place yet it gels together so well, Lament Moment is even crazier, love Saitei, they pull off all this stuff live and their channel is super cool with a whole load of ridiculously awesome cover songs. One Piece's We Are, NGE's Cruel Angel Thesis are just a few examples for the anime crowd, but they do cover many different bands as well.
To top it all off there's seperated playthroughs for a few songs and even a part-change series where they try to play the parts of other band members, which honestly sounds pretty bad (as you'd expect) but is hilarious.

It's true that their covers allow you to discover a real and heterogeneous world, what am I saying, an encyclopedia of indie and J-pop music...

Glad to see someone else enjoying my favorite band. Been listening to them for five years and have heard everything they've done. Craziest thing about them is that none of their songs sound the same. That is why they're the most artistically and musically interesting band I've ever come across. Any of their stuff is worth a listen, but my favorite is "Complicated System." Hope to see you react to it and many others from them.
