- YES! Kenilworth on Queensland's Sunshine Coast is worth a visit! Today we take a scenic drive through the Blackall Range in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. This drive offers spectacular views of the hinterland and coast. There are quaint little towns, rainforest walks, waterfalls, lookouts and cafés along the way.
After a brief stop in the small towns of Flaxton and Mapleton, we continue our drive over the range to the township of Kenilworth - famous for 'Kenilworth Dairies' and their delicious cheeses! Kenilworth is a pretty little town and well worth a walk around....did we mention their bakery makes 1kg donuts?!!!
The Blackall Range is an easy drive from Brisbane and accessible from the Bruce Highway.

Hi, we're Beth & Paul from Brisbane, Australia and we love to travel!
Paul retired on 28th February 2020 and on the 1st March 2020, we set out on a 6-month adventure around South East Asia. This was a well-planned once-in-a-lifetime travel experience! It was our intention to show you how you can have a great time traveling without spending a fortune.
Our timing wasn't great - what with the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus and subsequent global turmoil less than a month into our trip.
Until it is safe to travel internationally again, we turn our focus on traveling around Australia and sharing everything our beautiful country has to offer!

Hi Jasmine, Thanks for your kind comments 🤗 we made this video in November 2020 when we lived in inner Brisbane. At the time, we didn’t know that 8 months later we would sell up and move to this region. We now live about about 15 minutes drive from Kenilworth 😊 We’re very happy here..it’s a beautiful region ….and we don’t have far to go to buy fresh local dairy products 😉

Thanks @Wayne Kerr 🤗 we had Kingaroy on our list, but they’re two more great suggestions...especially as we have never been to Roma 😲
4:40 main tourist spot for day trippers and they have 2 or 3 km of steep slippery dirt road...surely this must be a priority to seal. I refuse to take my motorbike down here as chain gets all dusty and it is dangerous.
Hi @johnpro2 😊 Yes, it would be great to see all of Obi Obi road sealed. The Sunshine Coast regional council has plans to seal many unsealed roads over the next few years, we would live to see this one done too.
