I started listening when life in general was out. My all time favorite band. Can you guys please answer a question for me? I'm autistic and this is frustrating me. I don't understand. Are you guys also serious Christians? I'm amazed nobody else besides me seems to be heart broken that Mike took God's name in vain and that made it on the album. Nobody even care. But...... Someone who loves Jesus like Mike used to clearly in the old lyrics would not do that. Doesn't it bother you? Or am I the only one
@@coryc1904 hey cory, the lyric is a line taken from the movie Friday so mike didn't write it. I know mxpx were a Christian band in the 90s during the tooth and nail era.
I'm not sure mike is still a Christian. I'm an atheist so it really doesn't bother me but I completely understand you my friend
this is maybe the best mxpx album
This has a 90's retro feel with the arcades and they sound just as awesome as they did back then, too.
It has been nearly 5 years when I realized the chorus was a reference to the movie 'Friday'. I blew up my wife's brain like Scanners when it finally hit me.

@@coryc1904 Mike(like a lot of us) does not subscribe to religion anymore. He's still a kind, humble, loving, and forgiving dude with a good moral compass. There's no need to worry about him, he has a great life and a beautiful family. You do you, and just enjoy the fact that they're making some of their best music after 30 years! It's just a word.
