  • Entebbe is a city in Central Uganda. Located on a Lake Victoria peninsula, approximately 36 kilometers (22 mi) southwest of the Ugandan capital city, Kampala. Entebbe was once the seat of government for the Protectorate of Uganda prior to independence, in 1962. The city is the location of Entebbe International Airport, Uganda's largest commercial and military airport, best known for the dramatic rescue of 100 hostages kidnapped by the militant group of the PFLP-EO and Revolutionary Cells (RZ) organizations. Entebbe is also the location of State House, the official office and residence of the President of Uganda.
Entebbe in 2021 is one of the cleanest town in the country with the cleanest Roads.

Was there for 2 months in the summer of 2019 cause my dad had a U.N. Mission and I visited. I Remember meeting so many kind people, with aspirations to just live life without shame, doubt, or guilt. I love the people there, their only motive was to enjoy and cherish what they have and someday maybe become what they want to be. The purest city, the purest people. We need to be grateful like them. It just shows that life isn’t about what you COULD have, just love what you are privileged to have straight from the origin; life.
Also thanks for walking around. Saw a barber shop I went to 2 times there and saw some other shops I went to. I will go back one day.

Thanks to the British, they designed and built it then the Africans took over. Unlike other British built cities, the Ugandans have done a job of maintaining it.

I hope that Uganda can get more tourists to visit the inconvenience is tge online visa will take ages to receive approval and mandatory PCR test upon arrival to Entebbe airport at the cost of 65$ and long waiting as well.
