Hi♥️ you can use another type of cord. I used a soft single twisted cord. if you use a hard cord, especially 3ply twisted, take the lengths of the cords a little longer🙌🏻

I just made this!! My ring is 25cm and like 3x thicker (made from wood, no metal ring available here) and the strings I used are more like 6mm (even though I ordered the 4mm ones :/) so I had to make adjustments to the pattern since my knots are very _thicc_ , but it turns out so beautiful I love it so much!!
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I've wanted to try macramé for years but it was too intimidating for me so I keep stalling, but your video is so easy to understand that I was able to do it! Now that this basket is done I'm going to put lotion on my rope burns lol. Idk how you macramé artists could do this without your hands getting rope burns ^^;
