The man that helped this woman deserves so much thanks and respect. What a brave and loving soul. I was assaulted in the subway and someone stepped in to help me too. I wish I could hug both of these brave gentlemen.
I remember during Covid I was transiting to work at the hospital and I was being harassed by an addct. People were too afraid to step in but this black man came up and told me to take his seat so he moved to mine so the guy couldn’t get in my face. I couldn’t thank him enough. Kind gestures mean everything and I’ll never forget ❤
I was assaulted in the train and no one helped me... even though two guys were sitting diagonally from me watching it happen...

This hits close to home to me as I was threatened and almost attacked several times during Covid. It was terrible but I was lucky that it did not get violent and was mostly verbal. I was lucky that it did not get physical. I feel bad for this lady and kudos to the Good Samaritan that helped her.

So many of the comments saying it was a hate crime, but according to the good Samaritan who saw it and stopped it, the victim did accidentally bump into the perpetrator, who immediately flew into a rage before any apology could be made. So, maybe it was a hate crime, or maybe this is just a mentally unstable woman with a short fuse.
