Is there nothing you can’t do Diane, love the paintings especially the ones with all the foam, they give off an energy. Can’t believe the bee quilt didn’t sell, it’s cracking. Oh my goodness, you are a great painter, along with being a terrific talent at quilting. The 2 quilts that haven't sold are probably my faves of them all. Don't have any idea why they didn't sell. But you can never tell what people will be like. It would have been funny if we could have seen the faces your husband was making at you from outside the window😅. I was thinking of you earlier today, as i have been making a new project. This time, not my usual swinging from the fences😂 style, but precision piecing and attempting to be methodical in my color placement, lol. It's looking good. Safe travels home. 🙏 God bless you.

An especially inspirational and interesting video. You are one very talented person. Loved seeing all your quilts and hearing the thoughts behind them. I also have a mental list of hundreds of quilts I’d like to make but running out of time!

Your paintings are super. I used to do watercolours/pencil/oil and, like you, quilting is the thing that took over. I wonder if it is colour that attracts us to the different type of art work. I've dabbled with felting and knitting (not keen on knitting) and did a fair bit of embroidery - but the quilts are special and I keep going back to that. Now wondering if you are a keen gardener too as it seems to fall hand-in-hand with colours.

It's a shame we can't slow time to fit in all the things we love to create...I sometimes think if I had a space to leave out art materials without getting in the way of other things I would take it up again. At the moment art is something I share with the grandchildren 🤗. Yes I have tried all the other things you mentioned...I quite like crochet but nothing calls to me more than quilting...like you ❤. And yes gardening is another passion 😁 x
We are hopeless cases! LOL! Agree - so much to do and so little time. Although I'm spared grandchildren - pity because I was hoping for play days! Enjoy the fun with them - they seem to grow even faster!
Hilarious that your art has a lot of mirrored images....you were destined to be a quilt designer haha! All your quilts are perfectly lovely. Perhaps the unsold ones don't match with people's decor? I wouldn't want to be following trends as then you're just making yourself into a slave to fashion. You put too much love and attention into your work for that to be acceptable. I'm sure if a bee keeper saw your bee quilt they would want to acquire it. Your husband loves you and you are very sweet. ❤

Hi Diane. Isn’t it nice to see the world through a quilters eye. Since starting quilting I find inspiration everywhere . Shapes, colours, patterns all seem to jump out at me 😄. I enjoy watching real bees in nature but I myself am a bit averse to insects on fabric, don’t know why, maybe has something to do with not wanting real insects in the house crawling about the place😄. It’s a mystery why your beautiful bee quilt hasn’t sold. Not everyone will feel as I do about insects on fabric. Your artwork is beautiful and I find it life giving. Best wishes ❤️
