Lake Cumberland Speedway - Johnny Wheeler Memorial - Super Late Model Feature - 4/20/2024

Lake Cumberland Speedway hosted the Southern Nationals Series to present the Johnny Wheeler Memorial event. The 53-lap Super Late Model feature contest was claimed by #57 Camaron Marlar. The popular local racer earned $10,053 for the victory. Marlar was credited with pacing every lap of the contest despite several caution flags and constant pressure from Josh Rice. Rice eventually had to settle for second place. #121 Pearson Williams made a change in the closing stages of the race and earned the third spot. In doing so he took over the series point lead. Lake Cumberland Speedway is a 3/8 mile clay oval located near Burnside, Kentucky.

that was where i picked jimmy owens to be my favorite don’t remember why but i did prolly cuz he was winning hahaha. heard stories when he would drive open wheel he’d show up and people would pack up and leave cuz they had no shot
