- It starts off on a high for Zolani as he finds out that Khwezi is pregnant with their child and while his excitement sets in, Mabutho is on the run and Paulina is confronting Angelina about stealing her baby. It all comes to a sad ending when the gun she showed up with ends up killing her and another one from Mabutho's side, ends up killing Zolani.

Hmmm I cried today!!! The exits were so so painful. Just to show how life is so unbalanced and unfair. Paulina 😪!!!, finally having a chance to start over with her child, Zolani having a fresh start with a baby on the way! Hai!!! Ndachema nhasi!!! I hadn't cried for a drama/telenovela in a while. This is their worst season finale ever😡. Season 4 and 5, were all over the place, *it makes sense that 6 will be the last season.* *Zodwa* has always been right about the *Mokoena family* they are toxic AF. First *Mabutho* killed *Lindani* for *Tumi,* now *Angelina* has killed *Paulina* in order to continue _latching_ on to *Cobra.*
_Zolani and Paulina are iconic characters, fan favorites, there was no need to kill them off, the whole thing is asinine._
There was absolutely no need to kill Zolani, he could've chosen to sail ⛵ off into the sunset 🌇 with Khwezi and the 👶. He'd visit the family from time to time, like Nomonde has been doing since season 3. As for him *_levitating 🤣_*
Paulina divorced Cobra and quit her job as Councilor. She could've proven the the baby is hers, and then moved away from the toxic Mokoena family to KZN, with her beautiful baby 💔. Honestly Angelina disgusts me 🤮
The only interesting thing about this episode is the music 🎶 cue, similar to season when Lindiwe killed Tumi. Hey *Tshabalala* always remains unscathed

The U S loves the River if only thru CZcams. I can only see snippets. But we put two and two together and it’s still top notch series. I really wished Paulina had gotten to be her own child. I came across this Soap and stopped watching anything else and I now see an actor or two on the Netflix series King if Joberg . I love The River. Maybe one day the ShowMaxx will be available in the US. The Housewives are better in Africa than here in the US more substance. Thanks 1Magic

The finale could have been better but the acting is phenomenal as usual. I hate that Mabutho is still alive but honestly giving Zolani and Paulina a happy ending would have been to basic and obvious. It's sad but that is the reality of life. Bad things happen to good ppl. I hope that the story just gets better here on out even though Paulina didn't get justice 😔

You see the problem is, most of their viewers watch to escape reality not to see reality but now their show is becoming morbid and vulgar like The Queen, which was The Queen's demise. My family is refraining from the show and has been for a while because of Paulina's situation and the vulgarity of the show. We are just one family but imagine how many viewers feel the same way judging from the backlash

This episode took something out of me. Wow writers I commend you, albeit it hurted us as the viewers. It shows what you sow so shall you reap and that in this world you don't always get justice. As for Zolani, he died a painful death, vengeance for what he did to there like Thato Mokoena.

I think the truth will eventually come out. Maybe Mabutho will survive and will get to tell Cobra the truth once he's arrested( that's if he does). Or Angelina will confess due to the circumstances of Paulina's death. But ai Angelina is an Ice queen . I doubt she will. But I'm sure the truth will find it's way.
