    I know it's an exercise, but I wouldn't want a cup of tea in a quiet room. They'd probably have to sedate me.

    We do these drills at our hospital regularly... and babies wear “hugs” tags that if tampered with sets off security shutting down L&D mother baby NICU and Peds.
    Here in the US

      I set off one of those, they place hug tags on babies and toddlers when they are admitted in, I was admitted in at the age of two due to asthma and stayed overnight, I climbed out of my crib and walked out the door setting off the tag

    I'm glad she said so the new mothers don't have a reason to be TOO alarmed, not that they shouldn't be alarmed AT ALL. Drill or no drill, I'd be pretty on edge! Nice to know that they practice this, praying all hospitals works wide do the same and they never have to do it for real.

    This is very interesting as an exercise, and quite necessary, but what happens to ambulances coming to A&E when the hospital shuts down for an unknown period of time unexpectedly? Re-routing a deathly ill person could prove fatal for them, so is there a contingency for that situation?

    • @icedcoffeeentertainment6444
      @icedcoffeeentertainment6444 Před 3 lety +1

      usually A&E is a separate building than maternity, at least it is in the hospitals I've been. So the maternity ward and building is shut down, but a and e still continues...apparently not lol I just finished the rest of the video and they shut it all down
