@@jeffrobodine239 I'm not sure about the Corso but the Boerboel can run 25 miles an hour and stop and turn on a dime, much like a cattle dog it's remarkable! I've never seen such a large dog so flexible, bendable, or as nimble like a cat but the Boerboel was bred to hunt lion's, tiger's , bears and other large predators. Owning one you can definitely see they've got what it would take for that incredible tough job! One of the strongest bite forces of any dog , equal to a shark and yet they take food from a child as gently as a Golden Retriever. I've never known such a well rounded incredibly intelligent loving loyal dog as my precious Bane. ...and I've had some truly amazing dogs!
I had two English mastiffs, one was 150 lbs. 3/4 English mastiff and 1/4 great Dane. He could run like the wind , turn on a dime, jump 7' or 8' high , amazing dog. My 100 % mastiff with papers was bred to be lighter and more athletic than the average English mastiff was 165 lbs. And climbed the steep stairs on a crane one day to see the view from above ! I had chickens in an area with heavy coyote pressure, one day I see him stone still stareing at the hill in back of the house. There was a coyote checking the chickens out. They looked into each other's eyes and a I never lost one chicken. It sounds like you have a great dog, love him while you have him they're gone too soon.

Smart coyotes wouldn't want to mess with a well loved Mastiff protecting his property!! I can't get over how fast they run and how quickly they can stop, turn or how high they can jump! All that weight and they move with the grace of a ballerina. I've loved a lot of dogs in my life but this one has stolen my heart like no other. We'll be together until the end for sure, I can't imagine my life without him! Treat a Mastiff with love and respect and you'll be given more love and protection in return than you could even imagine with a true best friend for life 🐾❤ 🐾
