I just got my 2023 Chevy Colorado LT, and it looks exactly like the one you're showing. I like everything about it with the lots of options it has. I just purchased the 5" wide Weston Stainless Steel Step Bar for it. I paid under $600 for them and the Shop owner gave me a 10% Senior Citizen discount. Hey, it doesn't hurt to ask for a discount, my older sister would always tell me. I got the 'Lifetime' spray-on bed liner for it (very nice), but haven't decided if I want a bed cap for my new truck, Can that dealer actually match that Radiant Red Tint paint is the question. I'm from PA. and the other question I'm debating is having my new truck rustproofed, I hate that greasy stuff but I don't have to work on it anymore at my age. Let me say, the rustproofing works, and the last truck (2002 Ford Ranger XLT) I had rustproofed, that truck was recently traded in. I drove it for 21 years, and it looked "Showroom Condition" with 177,,000 miles on it. Hey, you have to take care of your investments, and that one served me well. The upholstery in the 2002 Ford was brand new with the original material.
4/20/2024: Local dealer "market adjusted" the price of the trail boss from $41k to $47K! The LT (well equipped). is $38-39k. I don't need a factory lift.
I drive a Hyundai Santa cruz. I know, many classify it as an suv with a bed . I'm in no way a truck guy because i only seldomly do truck stuff. But if i were to get a classic truck I'd probably get this.
5:09 - reverse camera installed incorrectly? Looks very uneven and frankly unacceptable from the factory. That would drive me crazy to look at and honestly I'd hold out for a different vehicle on the lot.
I just bought a brand new Ridgeline RTL for $43000 on the road !! Stickered price for $43000 less $3000 discount !!! I got 2.9% for 60 months or could get 0.9% for 36 months. It's a great truck , very comfortable and can still tow 5000 pounds. It has a great reliable , long lasting 3.5 6 cylinder engine that can last many many miles. What do think of the Ridgeline ?
They have a two wheel drive truck identical to this LT,,,,41,100,,,,, I payed 41,200 for my 23 4x4 Trail Boss, with cruise, powerseat, dampened tailgate w stow and go,, I bought the first Colorado TB at this dealer,,he did tell me they were gonna mark the next ones up,,,I feel like I got a good deal, 2inch lift 3inch wider stance,, just a better looking truck and it’s 4 wheel drive,,,,I even asked to make sure,, 41,100 and it’s 2heel dr? He said yes, I’m glad I bought this TB when I did,, cause I think they’ll seek their next one for 45 to 48,,, they don’t get a lot of them!
No one is asking the real questions on these trucks or providing this information. Can the wiper blades be lifted off the windshield? Are the wiper blades the standard J hook? How difficult is it to replace the headlight bulbs and the entire headlight assembly? What is the cost to replace the headlight assembly? Do the brake lines and fuel lines finally come from the factory as stainless steel? Can the windows be lowered AND raised with the key fob. Why is there no power passenger seat and power sliding rear window? And I do not see anywhere on GM's website that these trucks have power folding mirrors. I have five gm cars. Two of which the wipers cannot be lifted off the glass. One (Pontiac G6) has to have a special wiper blade adapter causing the cost of wiper blade replacement to be expensive. One where the windows can go down with the fob but but not up even though the instructions on the screen says it can be done, and three of these vehicles require major disassembly to replace headlight bulbs and one (GMC Terrain) where the headlight assembly cost $1200 and the entire bumper and grille have to be removed to replace it. And, the steel brake lines have been replaced on four of these vehicles.
Hey, I am impressed with the payload of 1600+ pounds. Higher than some 1/2 tons. Tows 7700 lbs. Look good. Functional for my needs (towing a small camper and hauling camping gear). Is it reliable? What are the safety ratings? We shall see. I am buying at the end of 2024. It will be on my short list.
I’m sorry but a vast majority of new vehicles are not affordable at all for most people. If you look at inflation, real wage growth and how that affects your bottom dollar and long term purchasing power….. most people can’t afford new cars if they want to retire in a timely manner with a bucket of cash big enough to last

So if the battery dies, the hood is locked, how do you open the door locks, so you can open the hood, so you can charge the battery? 2)The V-6 and the Duramax Diesel that were available in the previous Colorado are no longer offered in 2023. Which engine is more likely to run over 250,000 miles the 4-cylinder or the Duramax Diesel?
The Duramax diesel has modern emissions garbage on it, it'll never see 250k miles without costing thousands in repairs. I don't know anyone (and I'm a redneck volunteer firefighter so we've all big diesel trucks) that's made it past 50k miles without their diesel spending weeks in the shop. Dpf filters clogging,Def pumps die, Def heaters die, constant regens and derated engines. The only way most survive is if they're worked extremely hard to get the exhaust temps high enough to make the system rely on the Dpf filter less. Modern emissions bullshit put me out of business when my 2016 freightliner Cascadia cost me tens of thousands of dollars in constant repairs once it was out of warranty. Diesels are not for the average commute to work guy that pulls a boat every now and then. The age of deisels in America is over. The EPA has fined multiple shops million dollars fines for deleting emissions trucks. Might as well forget about it.
Midsize over priced by $5k and full size over priced by $10k. Just my opinion. If they’re discounting them by that much disregard. If still wanting MSRP and getting it 🤦♂️
Sad thing is price went way up from last gen LT and they cheapened out by losing features at the same time (no hood struts just a cheap prop rod, no 4LO on LT, no physical lights knob…). Im intrigued by new gen Colorado but I’ll wait for the refresh year to see what changes they make and at the same time see how the new Tacoma and Ranger play out.
Yeah… all trim levels are $5000 high for no reason… Midsize trucks are nice, but you can’t even take 4 adults in them comfortably or take long extended trips. That’s a big no no if I’m gonna spend 50k+
I don't really agree with you. For the tecoma sure, but my 22 colorado can handle 4 adults pretty well. But of course it depends on the size of the adults. Also, my colorado was 39k. So maybe that Also makes a difference.

It's not too late to buy a 23 Tacoma 4 banger for under $30k. They're turds but the 2.7 in the Tacomas is one of Toyotas best engines ever. Browse any Tacoma forum and you'll fing guys asking how to fix their 300k mile truck because it just finally broke. I've beat the ever loving hell out of 3 of them and never broke 1. 1500lbs in the bed, towing 2000lbs over max, they just don't care. Change the oil and coolant when recommended and drive it forever.
In 2023 almost $41k......a 4-cylinder turbo midsize truck is considered affordable. I wish the pandemic never happened.

The FOB has a key you would pull out and use on the door handle. The plastic pops off the door handle to reveal a key slot.
