Love you girl! I picked up reading again after many years, last summer. I’ve fallen back in love. With that being said, I made a goal of reading 12 books this year. I’m at 38 now ☺️
My favorite books from this year so far are Winning My Queen by Madelyn Smith and Date With Danger by Janessa Fayeth and I must Betray You by Ruta Septetys. Biggest disappointment I have to say it….. Dear Henry, Love Edith by Becca Kinser this one hurts cause I so wanted to love it and I was loving it at the beginning when they were writing notes back and forth but I wanted more of that and that part ended too quickly for me. I did love all the quirky characters that gave me Gilmore girls vibes but still I wanted more for how hyped it was. If I’m being honest I put it down when I was half way through it and I still haven’t picked it back up to finish reading it.🫣🤭 I know! I loved this video!! Happy reading!!🩷☺️
I just finished reading The Selection last night based on your recommendation, and I’m embarrassed to admit how much I love this book. I can’t wait to read the next ones. I’m also currently reading Daisy Darker because of your recommendation. It’s so nostalgic because I grew up reading Agatha Christie, so I’m eating it up! Thank you!!!
My favorite non-fiction so far is Memorizing Scripture by Glenna Marshall and my favorite new to me cozy mystery series so far is Pancake House by Sarah Fox. I’ve loved everything I’ve read by Sarah Fox but this series is my favorite.

Yes, can we please talk about how good The Naturals series is??! I read the first two last month, and like you said, they’re getting better each book! I will sit next to you on the Dean train, he’s my favorite, too 😍 Another series I’m loving is Legend by Marie Lu. I missed it the first time around & am smacking myself for waiting this long. Dystopian bad ass enemies to lovers at its best, but also the world building and politics is so interesting & different from what I’ve read before. Recommend!
Oh Harry Potter - I enjoyed it so much until JKR came out as a transphobe. Now I can’t even stand to look at the ones on my shelf. Currently building my Little Free Library and it’ll be one of the first things I unhaul.
