0:54 im pretty sure he copied that from that one aatrox otp in chinese super server(xiaoming, not xcm)and he would go for cloth armor start in matchups were he needs to rush tabis(yone renekton and all that). he also makes up for the lack of sustain by having 4 pots early(but ofc, doran items will always be superior)

This method of playing yone, Whilst much more boring / less action oriented is absolutely keeping the champion alive for me, Thanks for this video and the "guide" regarding playstyle.
If I may ask anyone/Dzu, What's your go to bans if your team cannot ban for you? there's a few matchups I struggle with but this rune/build has made some of them much easier to deal with.

For yone I haven't seen anyone done it and it's harder to proc it because of having to gap close, short trade, then exit. Yasuo can dash in and out fine but yone early on can only rely on his E to safely exit after a grasp short trade, but yone no.

Yasuo Q3: Procs Grasp but not PTA
Yone Q3: Procs neither Grasp or PTA
Conqueror seems okay but both champs do not want long trades (at least in lane if w/o a lead). Fleet and PTA might be just a bit better.
@@tedestrada57 Yone's Q is just mega weird. Hob doesnt work on him the same way it does on yasuo. Sudden impact is also weird sometimes and I've heard Navori doesnt work the same as well.

No it doesn't because you have no survivability. Maybe in mid it's ok but top absolutely not and yone is a duelist meaning extended fights and you lose so much by going HoB

@@Marlesden he is a fighter and a slayer it’s insane lvl 2 you can half life anyone with just 3 autos during E. It happens to quick no one reacts to it. Also Q cd gets lower during the 3 autos but it doesn’t take away an auto so you effectively can (3aa)+(1-2Qs)
When the red mark atop an enemy champ turns black while you're in E, it means that the true damage will execute that champ so you can recast E immediately

I'm just annoyed how they let other 1-trick champs like Kat do whatever. Yone had the same kind of "you get gud and you can outplay everything" but I guess it's just terrible when Yone autos you to death but a Kat doing it AND being able to build whatever she wants is fine.
I suppose popularity is a curse.
Also to consider that lethal tempo outside of Yone was problematic on multiple champions. I don't really care about yone either way, but the removal of lethal was a good move. I'd wait one more patch before giving yone any significant buff, wait and see if there's anything cooking.
I'm not trying to defend LT, I'm just disappointed with the lack of shifting LT users' power budgets around. Namely Yone, who is now forced into a very interactive playstyle.
Basically I just gotta wait for another skin and I'm sure riot will overtune him again.
