Initially the design of the new BMW G87 really put me off, but as I have come to understand it, I really like it! The ONE thing though it needs, for any color other than black, is the front grill painted. The lower black section breaks up the front grill design leaving it feeling unbalanced. The color matched grill from IND though is PERFECT, and comes in two versions.
I absolutely recommend this, and for me, it completes the exterior look!

Nice upgrade! Were I to move from my F87 to a G87, the color-matched lower bumper would be a MUST.

I couldn't agree more.. it just finishes the whole front style. Ironically, a bunch of sales guys thought the same thing immediately when I came by the dealership for something. *laugh*

nah. it makes the car look outdated. porsche gt4 also has no color matched middle part. trust bmw on this. they know it better

Fair point, though still prefer the painted. I am very likely moving to a different styled front grill section soon, so will be back to dark in the middle soon. 8)
