they should handle him like monk, correct me if i am wrong here, give him a caster version in the tree and a melee version in the tree via. talents so people can decide how they like to play him.
The helm enchant scales with iLevel. On the 3rd boss in HoI you dodge the circles very inefficient. You often run out, then jump another 7 yards, just to run all the way back again. If you positions correctly after hide, you only have to run once and just a few steps also.
What makes me sad about the current state of holy paladin is that we've kind of lost our damage dealing identity. The fact that you could basically only get consecrates out for that halls boss and the rest of your time is spent healing while all the other healers for the most part can be pretty active on both meters is frustrating. The amount of work HPALS have to do to accomplish anything in comparison to every other healing toon is disappointing.
That's one of the reason why I started playing Hpal because you had to do damage to heal, like disc priest. And now that all healers can do damage does take away from the identity of it not to mention, ya, I had no time to waste GCDs on DPS abilities. lol We will have our time again!
This is a bit refreshing to hear. I’ve recently came back to DF as a first time healer and chose Hpal. I’m only 495 currently but in +4s I feel like I have to work so hard to keep everyone up, like there’s absolutely zero downtime. A couple of times I have almost ran out of mana as well. Any tips for a new hpal?
There's a lot going on with Hpal. It has been since late S2 overnerfs. The cracks on the spec start to show somewhere after the 13-14 key range. Virtue right now is insane for the current dungeon pool but as Hpal its the only healer who realistically has mana issues, you have to be careful.
@@x-menxrp2643 Not bad = the only healer that has to actively manage their mana in m+, need to play in a specific way around that (infusions/inflo) and that cant DPS properly without investing a lot of mana due to how expensive Holy Shock is and also has to use healing CDs for DPS in the process. No other Healer in current DF has to deal with that. Also, you shouldnt be pairing DT with Daybreak in a lot of scenarios.
@@RinaaaYa 100% agree with you. I've stopped using DT and Daybreak together. Usually I would Daybreak first then DT but once you get up into these higher keys you want to spread out your CDs.
Had a question about mouse movement. Obviously, you are using mouse over macros or clicking with clique/vuhdo. I notice that you frequently move your mouse off of health bars up to middle of screen and back to health bars rapidly. Is that intentional, or just a habit?
It's probably a bit of both. When I'm actively healing, I use WASD to move my character so i can click on the panels.. When there isn't much healing going on, I use my mouse to move, and then my left hand moves up to 1234 for DPS abilities. So i don't accidentally click anything while I'm use my mouse to move, I put it in the middle of my screen. So I probably just do it out of habit at this point.
Get your crit up mate, i run nearly 60% crit and 40% haste. Makes every holy shock not feel powerful but as if its actually doing something and ofcourse this will reduce your holy prism cooldown etc. Etc. Crit is godly.
@@pokket_gaming its far better atm since Tanks dont need much heal. But if normal Bacon use it on a range, that way your mastery works fully on more people
if the tank doesnt get there in time and he doesnt melee u, and he cant melee anyone else either, he does a big ass aoe, one shotting everyone instead:D so its better if he melees one guy than aoe wipes out everyone:D either way, thats a tank problem:D
I actually already have it equipped at a higher IL. I used my bullions to purchase it. So I can't roll on it because it's a lower IL. You can roll on it normally though.

Ya that's why it felt bad only having a 489 helm for the longest time!
Do you get any loot related or crest type of rewards from the Dark Heart quests?
No you just get a skin for one of your dragons and some t-mog for your class's weapon types.

Yes hpali are in a very frustrating space right now.

Mana is not bad... Bell into Dawn.... Restores a ton of mana every time... I'm sure you tired that rotation.

In raid you Heal way more with bov but of you Play normal bacon put it on 2 Range dps. Will double the bacon heal and you heal ranges more.
I usually don't bring BoV to raid. I'll have to try that!
