the name “streets” came from the sample in the original song - the song itself is about finding that one person that they love but maybe isn’t the most healthy. the lyrics are actually beautiful i love it. i recommend her grammy performance! she danced & her mic was ON

"Streets" is about on and off again relationship and it's about says that there’s two men, one who didn’t respect his lady and two who loved her on all levels. But I say it was a love and hate, jealous, toxic type of relationship
In the video synopsis: Doja is the mannequin in the shopping window and while he stuck in traffic, the guy (taxi driver) he started to mesmerized her after she became this sexy dancer and she want to seduce him to a lap dance and the second scene: she is laying on the taxi cab and the guys all around her as zombified while the guy who Doja really wants and he gone beast mode that means he want her badly and the third scene is where she trap him in the spider web means she obsessed with him and all she wants him and nobody's else (btw the spider web scene is inspired by the movie Spiderman 2 and her outfit is also inspired by Catwoman meets Black Widow meets Spiderwoman 🕷🕸🖤😼) and at the end of the video all this time he was daydreaming, and also yes the scene where Doja dressed like 1950s housewife is probably inspired by WandaVision.
if you’re confused about the video, here is the storyline explained to understand: Doja becomes enfatuated with a man who is already going places (the driver) but they managed to cross paths. she has already been beat down and hurt before in past relationships (represented in the car hood scene) and there are several suitors (hypnotised by her) who chose to watch her hurting rather than helping her, except for the driver who is the only one to approach her and offer help. but she becomes obsessed with him when she realises this and traps him in her web (which we see in this scene) because she doesnt want to go back to feeling the same pain she felt before. but she becomes trapped in her web with him due to her obsession with him as she has finally found the guy she has been longing for (seen in the lyrics). in the end she is left with nothing but a shell of the man (represented as a manequinn) becuse she became so hooked on the idea of trying to find someone like him, that she didn’t manage to find love within him. all along he was already going places and they were never destined to be together (hence why he’s represented as a taxi driver because typically they take you to your destination and you never see them again) but Doja became too addicted to the feeling of having something (in this case the driver) to numb her pain that she became desensitised and it ended up destroying them both.
