  • My review of the Onewind Hammock Tarp - showing the features and coming to the conclusion that this is a MUCH better tarp for the Haven XL than the standard rainfly that comes with the Haven. You can purchase this tarp at either AMAZON or Onewindoutdoors.com

Best hammock tarps out there. They did all the thinking and planning, and the price is honestly unbeatable for what you get. You can get a DD tarp but you’ll have to learn and do all the knots - this comes ready to setup for even beginners with all those adjusters, clips and tensioners.

“None of that bullshit!” Lol. I love it when people just say what their thinking. Put it out there man! Lol
Thanks for a great review I already have this tarp and was considering the haven tent. I just ordered it after watching this video. Looks like a perfect setup and I can’t wait to use it!

in heavy rain it's nice to run a line from tree to tree and have the tarp hanging from 3 points. looks like a great setup. enjoying my haven after seeing yours set up.

Makes a great tent by itself. I use the over head ridge line due to snow weight. Also I've found the One Wind tarp works with all my hammocks, I've been using it a lot with my Blackbird XLC hammock also. I made dogbones for the side pull outs and use poles to support it like a tent with sides.

The OneWind deluxe hammock looks pretty good too, and very nice for the money on Amazon. I'm still very happy with my Hennessy hammock. That was the beginning of the hammock camping movement, but there are now much less expensive hammock sleep systems.

Wow :) This is a really nice tarp. It covers a whole lot more and gives you plenty of room. My impression of Onewind is that they have solid products of great quality. I'm considering buying their Hammock Treestraps with buckles on them, so you can adjust the perfect tension on your hammock. What camera do you use? I use an Iphone 11 Pro Max for my videos. It has built in stabilization so your videos don't shake so much. There are other cameras for shure, but I'm really pleased with my Iphone for video. Great channel and great content buddy. Keep up the good work :)

Biggest issue I run into with the Onewind (my favorite Amazon vendor) vs Haven is size. It can get tough to fit an 12ft hammock & tarp. The Haven will fit in a 8' space. The biggest attraction to The Haven for me was the fact that I didn't have to guy out anything. I did swap out the Haven carabiners for some Onewind straps and cinch buckles

Nice setup. I do like using a dedicated ridgeline for my tarp as it puts less strain on the tarp itself

A tarp with doors. Well don't that just beat all?
That is one nice looking tarp and it has some very nice accessories. There is a lot of dry space under that tarp so there's plenty of room to cook and store your bags out of the weather. I have a very nice Wise Owl tarp that's not as fancy as the One Wind, but it's nice for the price.
With the doors closed, you'll have a nice little bubble of static air that will probably make the hammock camping 10 degrees warmer. In warmer weather, I'd probably allow the doors to hang open, or I'd guy the corners back to the trees that support the tarp.

The Haven tent hammock is a a great system, personally I would always go for a larger tarp, because of the ability to sit with friends and cook etc, if I were to buy another I would probably go for that, the doors look great!

its working well, if it was about 1' wider on each side, it would give a bit more headroom but i'm satisfied

I've had this setup for a little over a year and it's a great combo.

Looks like that might be a winner. The door flaps might also help keep some warm air inside when used with a good underquilt. I saw they're also available thru Walmart.

Hmmm, didn’t know you could get a Walmart, thanks for the info. When are you getting on the road Gary? When do you think you’ll get out where Dons at?

Looks like a damned fine tarp. I especially love the way it encloses the Haven when it’s folded/tucked.
Like a nice cocoon during a storm. Or a coffin. I’m claustrophobic so it’s hit or miss with me. 😂

The Onewind is my favorite hammock tarp, too! czcams.com/video/UwAzWWqmRc0/video.html I really like a continuous ridgeline though to take the strain off the tarp fabric.

What is the length from Door to Door?
    I don’t sleep in Hammocks,
I have a 7ft Teton XXL Cot and that Tarp looks like it would be great,
if the Cot can fit under it with the Doors closed?

Works much better, more versatile than the Haven tarp

Very, very, very long and boring... I am sorry I couldn't watch it till the end.
