Here I (Tanis Leonhardi; she/her/hers; of Seattle) talk through the Letsile Tebogo (of Botswana), 200 metres dash race at the 2024 Wanda Diamond League meet in Silesia, Poland (time of 19.83 seconds in the final on Sunday 25 August 2024). With his time he achieved a meet record time and first place. I provide my take/perspective on his performance and contextualize it in terms of what it means to set a meet record.
