I can remember the first conversation I had with Lauren. She expressed how important family was to them, especially their grandparents. After the story session I had with Lauren and Kurt, I knew I had to include their grandparents in the film because they were such a huge impact on their lives.
The older I get, the more I realize how important tangible memories of loved ones are to have, to hold on to, and to cherish. I couldn’t help but think about my grandparents while editing this film.
