Merita di essere maggiormente conosciuto qui da noi in Italia... e non solo per All Night, anche se grazie a quel brano ha avuto popolarità. Parov Stelar è molto più del pioniere dell'electroswing, ha una produzione talmente vasta, tocca così tanti generi musicali che proprio non si può ingabbiare in una categoria. E lui stesso è il primo a dirlo nelle interviste. E poi ha il suo modo per gestire la notorietà, lontano dai riflettori e dalle pose dei dj-producer "star". Chapeau! 🎩
Yep, pienamente d'accordo. Io lo conoscevo da prima di All Night, ma ho iniziato a scavarlo di più da lì. E concordo anche sull'atteggiamento. Forse è il motivo perché non è arrivato alle vette di certi dj, ma onestamente, meglio così, più libertà per lui, più qualità per noi.

Stelar is among just a handful of musicians not afraid to craft songs along a solid chord structure and a melody - with innovative rhythms and arrangements. By and large, an enjoyable chord structure is seen as "corny" today and even successful acts, like Taylor Swift, or Katy Perry perform poorly written songs, based on either totally banal chord sequences, or chords slapped together indiscriminately to result in that tasteless, vacuous, soapy feeling.
Sometimes inovation isn't bad, just look at Knopfler, but yeah, I wouldn't want Taylor or Katty worry their pretty little heads over song structure, they're there for the display anyway.
After all, only age group I can imagine enjoying their music are toddlers perhaps (maybe they're actually whole new level and we're stupid and tasteless haha).
