Well i just got my lil shih tzu one month ago and tbh its really hard to look after your own puppy, shih tzus need really high maintenance so if your a child its going to be hard for ya so just tell your mom to have a babysitter for her. Good luck, hope you get your lil munchkin soon!

Do angry gimmick to your dog.. see at the other side and say "NO"... wait until your dog being calm.. and then push your dog's body with your hands until your dog can do the trick that you want.. example : sit trick (push your hands on your dog body until he/see sits correctly) then give your dog a treat (I always give my dog with small piece of sausage)... repeat again & again.. don't give your dog a treat if your dog doesn't want to do what you've said
Jerhigh treats are not bad. But make sure you make tiny pieces of any treat before giving and not to give too much in a day. Also your vet can also suggest just in case😊

Well, I got it while visiting the vet. I don’t remember that brand but I have been using Jer high treats. Mimi likes them it’s a fairly good stuff. Since your pup is 2 months just limit the number. I made really really tiny pieces while teaching her.
Start from the very beginning with pee potty training. Use pee pads whenever and where ever you feel your pet is about to relieve. We used to place the pads every corner and then gradually reduced the number of pads used to one. Eventually, Mimi got the hang of using it. Use any treat or food that your pup loves as reward, be it a piece of fruit or chicken to appreciate when your pup uses pee pad. Hope it helps.

Don’t get the pup so soon, you should let them be with their mother for at least 6-8 weeks. Once you get them home, you can use the pads right away. For commands, be consistent with the words you use, keep it simple. Repetition and reward is the key. And they usually do not wet the bed they sleep on 😁

Mimi was already weaned and was on dog food when we got her. I was asked to continue the same brand of dog food (soften it by soaking in water). Till they have good number of teeth to chew refrain from giving hard food directly. Soaked or powdered is a good way to introduce solid food.

Hope your pup is doing well. I wouldn’t recommend milk as a meal since most of the dogs and cats are lactose intolerant. Milk as a treat once in a while is fine. And for food we normally give Mimi rice and boiled chicken (no seasoning). Plus some fresh vegetables(capsicum, tomato, beans) she likes. Biscuits with sugar is a no no. Boiled sweet potato is also an option.
I have taught mg dog to sit but I think the thing he learned was "sit" is him asking for treats. I can't train him with other tricks because he is so lazy and won't really move most of the time.

To teach anything to a puppy follow positive reinforcement. Appreciating by saying ‘good boy’ and by giving treats immediately every time he does it correctly. But it would take a little time for the puppy to learn.
