I always pay with cash for everything unless it's an awfully large purchase. I suppose I simply love my privacy, and with a digital purchase you lose that privacy. May not be of huge importance at the present, but I can see where in the future we will wish we had that privacy.
I totally agree with you, cash is king in my opinion, must be because I'm an old biddy. 🤣🤣
I wish I could just pay in cash, around me now to purchase something, my ID is scanned at the register now or you can’t buy what one needs... along with a limit on certain products too 😮

@@HiddenRoyal1472 Yes, I believe you. And I ask people this, "What does my ID have to do with buying things like food or clothing?" It's called "data collecting," and I just wonder who is collecting all this data on us and exactly what they plan on doing with this data. What happens if these data-collecting people decide for you that you don't need the item you want to buy? All they have to do is refuse the transaction to go through on your card. I'm all for technology, but there is a limit. The best way to fight against the "no cash" system is to use cash as much and as often as you can.
@@averagejoesmiling456I agree to use as much cash as you can for those who still can.... even my local bank changed the atm machine, there is a limit you can take out per day and that is $200, there are also no more cash deposits from the atm either. Locals are also fighting back over miles tax on cars too... so looks like my area is test zone for cashless and way out in Cali is the new miles tax on driving.. bad enough that there’s excess taxes on gas and no more gas attendants either.

Bless u linda. Matt bring me much needed joy as much as I can be happy right now. My sister is sick. There is nothing more they can do. My mum is sick also with dementia parkinsons & bad heart . He husband is also bad now. Life is crap.

Really enjoy these behind the scenes, extra videos of your exploring life. My husband had a good old laugh about you taking baths in the rivers, etc.
Just one thing that made me cry… the fish and chips!! Canada does not know about proper fish and chips. I am craving nice fish and chips for such a long time. I wanna die!!

I know how you feel Matt, very rarely do I carry cash. However here in Ontario Canada, you'd be hard pressed to find a place that just takes cash. Thank you Matt & Bear for the amusing and clinically insane video😂❤

That was thoroughly enjoyable. A very pleasant video. I love the community spirit too. The small town here I live we have several parades and festivals per year. Since Andy wasn’t there and you didn’t mention it, I feel the need to bring up the sign for “Mother’s Goodies” and i instantly heard in my head Andy making a suggestive comment about them selling mother’s goodies lol 😂 A wonderful video Matt.
Matt, I do love your drone footage and you always seem to choose the right music to go with it. You're really talented, in my opinion. Technology! It's great until it isn't. Parts of the country only take cards and here only cash. One day they'll all make up their minds to choose one or the other. I'm hoping it's cash because I'm a technophobe and live in dread of a cashless society. Me and Mr T once found Ellesmere purely by accident and I agree, it's a beautiful place. Can someone explain how his videos are set up? I’m confused when the title says “exploring abandon houses” but not one house is explored. How do you know when it’s behind the scenes? I’m really confused can someone explain his layout?
Easy … if it’s says exploring abandoned buildings in wales or exploring abandoned buildings in France and is in the playlist “behind the scenes” and in the description it say in march 2024 bear and Matt make their way from here to here , then it’s behind the scenes! Also I only bring exploring videos out on Sundays …

Matt you need an overnight bag you keep in your car 😂 like a lorry driver has. Toiletries towel loo roll spare pants and baby wipes for a clean 😂😂 maybe emergency tins of beans that's all you need ❤

I have slept in the car a few times on long trips, but I could never sleep that long in the car. 😴. Today was in the 90s here in upstate NY and that cold water looked good to me 🤣. have a great day/night 😘
Great drone footage as always. Please take care flying close to wildlife, those blades are like knives at the speed they rotate.
The power of editing , they are zoomed right in so it seems like they are mega close … and trust me I know I’ve got scars on my arm from drones
