TO THINK a whole US GOVERNMENT CYBERSECURITY OPPERATION was momentarily haulted by a “whats your pets name” capcha is f****ng hallarious
:)
Or that AnonOps had success on the tens of thousands of Tango Downs and this CIA multimillion operation had limited results
Uib,😅 7:45 😊
I imagine the marines subbranch of US cyber command (marforcyber) as a basement office near the boiler room in the pentagon, filled with a bunch of gigachads chewing on crayons, typing aggressively into vim/emacs.
A gigachad would use Word
@@sucrose Word. 🤭
*orange butter crayons
😂
Chewing on tactical crayons
That must really feel good to have approval from such a high up government department for an interview on your show. Well deserved Jack. Keep up the great work.
OR it's just another layer of formality that anyone can get...I mean the guy was on NPR
i dont know sa single person in cyber that doesnt talk about your podcast on coffee breaks . you are awesome and your hard work is greatly appreciated

Ha! I love your story-tailored sign-offs. I just found this channel a little while ago, and I am HOOKED! Such a fantastic niche. I've yet to hear anyone else in this space at all, let alone able to weave this topic/genre for an hour+ in such a gripping and entertaining way. I salute you, Cadet Rhysider.
Man same here. I started with episode 45 and 46. Now I'm listening to all of them while I grind in Diablo 2 lol
Same here from South Africa

There's no way I could pick a favorite of all your stories...BUT...this is definitely a major contender! Thanks, Jack, and THANK YOU, COMMANDER! For your service, and for sharing this story. Fantastic job! Keep up the amazing work!
Loved the naughty NSA rant! Great show, would make a good movie. Thanks Jack! 🏴☠️
Top tier content as usual. Thanks Jack 🙏
I really don't understand the technical terms in hacking but your storytelling abilities surpass many channels by far.
I was able to follow along and understand exactly what was going on I could picture it in my mind.
Your enthusiasm for the story is contagious.
Bravo, well done my friend. 👏
Same, I don't understand not one dang technical tern or technique, but the stories, how he conveys them, and how he can describe the cyberspace aspect where dummies like me can understand!
So this channel is great for even dummies for me! 😊🙃
if you look at cyber news channells you get news that is 100 times better and more accurate than any other news station haha . "seytonic" is good too and also "the hated one"
Ditto! 🎉
Dont usually listen to podcasts but this had me captivated. Well done! Brilliant work!
everything hasd a start
irony of the glow in the darks using code name glowing

Imagine US Cyber Command choose their operation name after taking inspiration from some little known best-programmer-in-the-world personal slang.
Jack, you need this guy with you as a partner in this or a new video series, love his calm, fun, almost joyfulness in the game. Keep up the good work, deep dives with your vibe and his tone, gold man.
That would be cool!
ISIS was the Syrian Rebels that was armed and trained under the Obama Administration and David Cameron. They became ISIS and ISIL after training, went around killing other Muslims not American , Muslims killing Muslims.
Where is these retards when the ideology of Israel launches genocide on Palestine.
No where why because these people where trained and allowed to grow under USA NATO and MOSSAD.
Simple why elese would muslims from all over the world go join to kill other Muslims but not Israel or the USA that has been occupying and raping their lands?
Does not take a genius to figure this out.
BTW I do not like ISIS fuck em

amazing episode Jack! thanks for going above and beyond to get these great guests on here, always tune in when I see a new ep :)
Amazing. You just keep raising the bar and pushing the limits. Bravo.
I can’t stop watching your videos dude. These are so well put together. Thank you!
Jack your killing it, this channel is insanely good ..
This is one of the most amazing episodes. Fantastic interview!
This episode deserves way more than 60k views. More like 6 mil ! Keep it up. You’ll be on top in no time!
Holy crap dude, this is just getting nuts!! I got to go to some of these conventions my gosh. These interviews are insane
Incredible story, can't stop skimming through the series!
Just recently found this channel and it's made me interested in cyber security because I want to know how to protect myself better from random bad people online
Been a week since i discovered ur channel...now it's my new favourite...i use it to help me sleep, your voice is just so soothing too. Thanks Jack🎉
Your topics are on 🔥. Thanks bro
Glad you like them!
Amazing 👏 interview Darknet Diaries!! Thank you.
This episode is the cherry 🍒 on top this year of all the awesome episodes.
I agree!!!
Congrats and good job getting access and approval to this commander. Well done, one of the best ones you've done yet.
Jack thanks for making this video 1:11:11 long.. my OCD thanks you haha
Bro thank you for all you do !
Hi fella
The sound design on the operation, and that pet name part with the music was amazing. Really immersive, felt like was part of the operation.
Your content has inspired me to pursuit greatness! Thank you
Great stuff! Favorite episode.

By far my favorite episode!
it's up there in one of my faves too
There's no way NSA command literally forced a bunch of state-sponsored hackers to take part in an op with the word 'glowing'😂😂😂
Sometimes i listen to half of the video before noticing i´ve already have listened to this episode.
Shows you how repetitive they are then
The fsct that he chose to do an always sunny drop with the pepe silvia refrence is goated
*Amazing! Next level content!*
How does he get interviews with these people?? This channel is so good
Niche topic to be interested in, lazy, uninterested, treacherous state puppets for control of narrative we pretend are journos, then pretend the opposite is closer to true isn't usually the case. They dont cover a lot of stuff you'd think we may wanna hear. Also, being on call 24/7 reciting horrific propaganda is prob exhausting. Stelter, those poor unlucky bastards, they had to look at stelter, even speak to him like he wasn't a barnyard animal, rough man.
he says it at the end
Great episode
Great episode!!! The music during the operation (pause during pet name segment, then starting up after getting cracked) had me cheesin 😆 too good man!
hah, I love that.
Thank you for the content warning at the beginning.
Excellent Episode
Cool dude with lots of knowledge. Keep em close man, he be a good guy to run things by for your own content for sure. Awesome yet again
Rah! So cool to see these folks get talked about, now the USMC cyber command is the tip of the spear.
Omg I can't wait to listen to this one when I get a chance
US Marine MARSOC were some of the easiest people to work with. Absolutely great people.
I really wish I were smart enough to do this kind of stuff. What an amazing interview this was
You can learn just about anything if you take the time to learn it.
@@michaelthompson9540That’s simply untrue.
I normally listen to new episodes as soon as they are released, but I have a 4 hour flight tomorrow so I will save it till tomorrow. I'm sure I'll be thinking about it all day it'll be a hard thing to wait for.
you get wifi on the flight or somethin?
@@JackRhysider I downloaded it 👍
The music in this podcast is just spot on. It is so visual. Great job guys. Face reveal at 100k? Lol
Thanks buddy!
I love this story 😂 You guys are so likable
ISIS is surprisingly advanced on the cyber security front, they've written their own Tor op-sec guide.
And honestly that scares me, it drives home that the beheadings and things like that are also pretty advanced psy-ops.
Worse, knowing the nature of proxy warfare they're invariably trained by global leaders in these areas.
Big yikes from me Jack
IS is trained by IS. Keep your silly conspiracy theories to yourself.
So bad ass. Getting that Commander on here. Bad ass, bro.
Thanks Jack, always delivering the best conversations with the most interesting people. Always entertaining and informative..
Thank you commander, ser for your amazing work and sharing your story.
And team, and governments for protecting our people!
Your podcast has consumed my life.
Someone told me about it on bumble bff 2 weeks ago and it's been playing since.
I have only 2 years in IT, mostly Linux, so a lot of this is new to me. But I'm hooked! I'm looking for cyber security conferences to attend near me now!
hey glad you like it!
Same dude I found it about a month ago. Same.
be carefull not to get hacked at conferences use a burner phone
"there's only ten people who know that " + the interviewer and now me and also 100K of you 😂 🤦♂️
This sounds just like the NPR show "This American Life."
this is unbelievable. how was this vet able to share this information?! surely this information is either unclassified or completely general - to him - but it feels specific AF. wow.
It is either unclassified or general knowledge. Anyone who gets a Top Secret security clearance is under an NDA for life. And befor he can even talk to people or release knowledge he is supposed to go through a PR person to make sure none of it will land him in Ft Leavenworth
@@Deadi12A great example is recent whistleblower David Charles Grusch. All his interview answers and statements were ran through DOPSR.
Great video
it's hilarious to me that they were basically called glowies
also: ''look at all this cool stuff we did to ISIS with the help of the NSA''
Note what the NSA is capable of
I get the feeling this was a training mission, there was no big risk of detection and having a superviser on hand with all the answers sure was convenient, they called it glowing for a reason
F terry davies
Jack has good sense of pitch. "I am Jack Rhysider" last syllable -der lands on the tonic of his intro leitmotif.
I dig the Symphony terminology mission name. Based on the outright requirement of cohesive collaboration between each individual for mission success, and dependence that just one or two of the key parts out of the total massive group does not drop the ball, it totally makes sense. However, I'd go with Gallant Symphony before glowing. Makes so much more sense.
They said it needed to start with “GL”
amazing bro
Oh man, i dont know if its a hack, but i heard this one. It was on the playlist days ago. :D Great great episode!
High Commander, salute !
He said they got powned! Legend!😆
LOVE THIS PODCAST!!!!! Anyone know the name of the outro song by chance?
best podcast out there
I don’t know Wht these stories are so addictive lol 😂
fantastic podcast. reminds me of Reply All. The trigger warning intro was pretty low t though.
Nah, “Operation Glowing Symphony” is a badass name.
Scrolled down to say how much I actually think Glowing Symphony is a totally sick name and was pleasantly surprised to find I'm not the only one.
Congratz on a huge scoop.
Top notch man, top notch. Thanks

Can you do an episode on the us cyber games
Where can I find the ost for the hacking moment? This is one of my favorite episodes.
In awe of the power of the Us.. smart people doing good things for the world. This is b21 raider type stuff. Love it.
32:00 bro the beat in the background is actually really enjoyable, almost too enjoyable I keep focusing on it that lil “du duh du-da-dah-da-duh “
Holy shit. The password was ISIS _1515_ smh. “It’s always 1515 with this guy” lmao All he knew was isis. SMH.
The way he explained the name for Glowing Symphony!😂🤣😂
Great stuff!!!
That's Friday prayer time for you.
"I turn to all the teams on the op floor and I say, let's glow"
Very interesting
Great video! I think the NSA is necessary, we just need better checks and balances to assure that they're not conducting operations against the American people without a warrant.
All of our intelligence community is extremely necessary, sometimes they have to do ethically questionable things and im okay with that tbh
Agreed, with reasonable cause and a warrant I dont mind ops on americans because there are bad actors here with us..
Oh sweet summer child. Checks and balances, requiring a warrent. Cute!
Boot licker, absolute power corrupts absolute
The problem is civilians suffer from the blowback US agencies cause, such as arming and training the Mujahideen which led to Osama plotting sept.11.. We had agencies screwing around in Angola, Nicaragua, Chile...Syria alone has multiple engagements funded by various agencies and these rebel factions end up fighting each other.
*Marine Raiders have jumped/dived/ran/crawled/drove/shot/swam into the chat*
this explains why I can't find clanging of the swords after 2016 I could upload to LL leek before that even CZcams has them.
"Pepe Silvia moment"... I see you
Incredible podcast one of the best : iam a redteamer guy so i think this is a bias :)
Cyberwarfare explained from the inside not the outside ...
I always thought the red teamers were more focused on the interiors...
I just started listening to this episode, but it reminded me of something I read about before concerning how the military ran ops creating radical islam entrapment message boards for middle east internet, as well as the first meme war on their social media to create the kind of division there we see now in our own cultural and political landscapes
This was one of the coolest episodes and after hearing the whole segment it just tells you to that whatever you wanna do, never fuck with the USA in terms of security. They will genuinely keep coming after you like a crazy ex!!
That must have been really hard for anonymous to cool it….let alone believe or understand the situation.
Is there a place we can see the video?
Cool, very cool!!!
I wonder what cryptos they cooked... that is locked in value lol
@Jack Rhysider whats that track playing in the backgorund of the start of the hack
You should try to talk to Jade Parker CIA Cyber Recon. She did a show with The Team House a couple months ago.
god i love the team house
was that a lowkey megadeth reference with symphony of (cyber) destruction? lol
I think this is my favorite episode ever!!!
