I got mine at 20. I had to wait 6 months before I could cross the border, lol. Been driving 20 years now and haven't crossed the border in many years. I run regionally and I'm home every 2 days and make a good living.

I just started watching your videos I work for Atlantic Bottling Company Coca-Cola out of Iowa. I'm a merchandiser but I'm curious you don't have sales reps that go to the stores and do the order and you just do the delivery. We don't use side loads anymore It's all full size trailers now the drivers will have all the deliveries on there. From big stores to gas stations to restaurants they do all the stocking at the gas stations and restaurants. And the big stores they just drop it and I go in and stock everything it makes their day easier. I also kept seeing that you were telling people that you're not speeding. What people don't know is a lot of companies have GPS in their trucks it tracks location speed so if you were speeding they would be saying something to you about it. Keep doing a good job and you will make it far for your company.
First off congrats on the growth of your channel! But to answer your question on why they send you places without orders made is to keep the money coming in. They probably see it as like you said sometimes they forget to order or another possibility as they will see your there and if they were running low they would say oh yea get me a case of this or that etc. Also it shows to the business that coke is there and basically they are trying to build and maintain a good business relationship with whoever you visit. It's all about keeping the product on the shelves and keeping the money coming in.
Working through this again to make sure I sent out this point to this community on the comments, Stray Administration (channel) had me when I came to CDL, they had faster connection to the DMV offering legal training certs as well as the necessary things you need to start on your job as a truck driver, and not all was compulsory on the list...

Bro greetings from Belize I am also a delivery driver for coke in Belize. The only difference is that we use a 12 bin six wheel truck. Seeing your rig would benefit us greatly to minimize the amount of reloads we have to do every day. Keep the good work brother.
At 19, you keep this up and keep saving and investing. Youll be rich and comfy by mid 40s to 50. You could possibly even do it late 30s depending risk you take. Bro, i envy you and i wish i started right after highschool. Keep that shit up and make them bread. 💯

One thing I don’t like as a young driver myself driving a dump truck is people braking early like there’s no one in front of you you don’t need to brake 😂.

When I got my CDL, I started in a 1995 Freightliner Cabover with a super 10 manual transmission, running local in a big city along the busiest highway in North America. 20 years later, I'm now running 2023 Peterbilt 389 sleeper with a 13 manual, hauling for the largest grocery retailer in the Country. It may nkt sound bad but I run to locations all through Quebec and I don't speak French, lol, but I actually love my job. Well, for the most part. Dont worry what others have to say, you're doing very well, especially for a 19 year old rookie. Great job brother!!!

I don't know if you e ever driven or even been in either but my '95 COE I had a dog house, which meant that to get to the bunk you had to crawl from the drivers seat on to the bed. No floor, no fridge, no TV, no anything really. I had a bigger mattress but that was literally it. It also wasn't maintained very well. I did love the 60 Series that I had in it. I even had an ether button, which would give the engine a shot of ether on very cold days to get it started. I would have killed to get what these drivers have today when I first started.

Hey bro for your gopro issue. Get an external battery or a couple and a longer usb to usb-c cord and take the battery out of your gopro plug in the external battery to the gopro and run it like that. Shouldnt over heat. The battery is the issue.
Write up the speedometer on your post trip and make them fix it or refuse to drive it. That’s a dot violation on your record and I promise if you get a ticket your company is not gonna take responsibility because you are the driver they will blame you. Learn to stand your ground against these companies don’t let them bully you into driving unsafe equipment.
You say you know what im saying way to much and as a driver its your responsibility to make sure the truck youre driving is in working order so that speedometer is something you need to have fixed
Where I work they give us a delivery time and we have to be there , only reason the driver has to wait if he is early. So we open at 930 and start at 8, but when the driver comes on 7 we have to start earlier.

Welcome to the CDL Life… Merge has to be the ultimate worse… either you are considered a “ghost” and overlooked and you must wait and/or literally cut off as you making progression of your turn that is extremely dangerous, not only for you as a CDL driver, but for the driver who literally cut you off… You have to always think before any other driver’s actions to keep safe…

I do all that too. It’s mostly the syrup boxes but I also do hotels, fitness places, golf courses, places like that be getting bottles, Powerade, all drinks, tea, hell everything😂also the pizza places I go to be getting 2 liters and stuff, dominoes, toppers, so yeah it’s a big mix of both
