Well played 👏 I suggest that you go for 2x clothes rather than 2x rice and 1x veggies, it's more stable, saves lots of space and a few workers, gives a bigger popularity boost (you can get 4x taxes with +6 from 2 well placed temples) and the surplus is actually worth some gold if you decide to sell it

1 clothes Workshop will easily give 2x to 8 peasants, and for each 2 clothes Workshops you'll need 1 silkworm farm and 1 silk workshop, this formula might even give surplus that can be sold for good profit
