Fauna is the goth that "stopped" being goth. Shiori is the goth that is still goth... Technically in terms of stages, fauna is more advanced than shiori. You don't stop being goth btw, you just hide it better... Letting it boil under the surface, concentrating it, becoming... Stronger.

@@kiawelb To be fair in the opening episode/chapter Boruto literally told the audience that it's not about his dads story any more it's about his story so it's not really fair to expect the old characters to have too much presence but also I get where you are coming from even some of the new characters get so little screen time that I couldn't even tell you their names but also I think the desire to know more about the characters comes from the good character design and writing, people wouldn't be so upset if they didn't care and it's better to have people wanting more character development then wanting a character to have less screen time, I never see anyone complaining about how the whole world revolves around a certain character or claiming that the story would be better if some specific character was removed.
Also shipping just refers to the relationship between two characters it doesn't have to be romantic and it can be cannon or fan fiction, it's just most people only use it in a romantic matchmaking context.

I really liked Sasuke x Karin too... Mostly coz I think Karin is way hotter than Sakura lol. Her "bite me and get a surge of chakra" ability(?) could make for _noice_ hentai plots.
To be fair to Sasuke, Masashi basically threw him from wherever he wanted him to wherevere he wanted him to be for the next plotpoint to be smooth and easy to get to. You have to actually think of the scenario from his frame of mind, development, and personality for a lot of his back and forths to make sense more than you do with characters like Naruto, and I sometimes wonder if that's more a reflection on him maybe feeling a bit spiteful toward the character he didn't even originally have in the story, or wanting to rush through his parts cause he liked the ideas that went with Sasuke, but wasn't really as invested in writing his character inbetween or beyond those points.
Also, based on the canon light-novel, his reasoning for that journey revolve around a few things. Namely him making sure the work that needs to be done for the village from the outside gets done, but also him fearing getting close to anyone because of the Uchiha curse of hatred and how it overtook him. Like, with Naruto, he doesn't have to fear the other half of that bond dying so much. With anyone else, he does even if he's around, and he's afraid the loss will send him spiraling right back into an obsession with revenge and thinking only with hatred.
Also, if you wanna be that critical of how the story went, most of the show revolves around people trying to force feelings onto Sasuke that he himself doesn't just naturally have. Itachi with the clan and 'Tobi.' Sakura and Ino and the whole love thing. Naruto and friendship to the point where he believes he should control Sasuke's location and activities. Orochimaru wanting to literally take his body over. The path he had for development wasn't really the best for a optimally sane brain. I mean, the only person he had to answer very sensitive questions about the truth of what happened to his clan was Fucking Danzo, who has the bedside manner of a gluttonous Honey Badger.
I hope like every anime discussions are like this...respect on what you like and dislike and just fun exchange

Okay but fr, while I haven't seen the Sonic movies, I've heard good things. Cursed Sonic was funny, but with the identity crisis the series was having at the time, and had been having since 2010, Sonic fans needed the change. For us, it wouldn't just be "haha, the funny bad movie". It would be "SEGA, please treat this franchise we love with more respect!" Not to mention, there are way too many people who will make something like that the entire identity of the series. You still can't watch one of the 2000s Sonic games without people getting obnoxious with Snapcube references. You still can't get a new 2D Sonic game without people dunking on it because it isn't the Genesis games but again. Essentially, if it was almost any other series, I would agree with Fauna. But Sonic really needed that break.
And Detective Pikachu? Goated film. I loved it so much when I watched it.

What Fauna like is the Alternate World version of Sasuke where he's a fuck boy and treat Sakura (and probably a lot of girls) like a princess. Naruto is an evil emo there but it's interesting, at least.
I mean since Fauna likes Sasuke so much she's probably the one who sealed him in that tree in Boruto's Dad Son's show currently.
To be fair Sakura did try to kill Sasuke first, something about how she couldn't stand to see him become any more evil, so I guess there is a little bit of wrong doing on both sides. Honestly I actually feel like I do understand where Sakura's and Sasuke's feelings are coming from at that point in the story and I think it's really well written and I really like that things ended up working out and that it didn't happen instantaneously, I like that it took a long time and I liked the mutual understanding and compromise they came to in both the arc where Sarada meets Sasuke for the first time and the one Sasuke punched that velociraptor in the throat. Sure Sasuke may not always be around but they seem to have made their long distance relationship work.
I mean, Sasuke was a renegade and intent on destroying Konoha village when Sakura went to kill him. He was a threat to the lives of everyone she knew. That said, she still couldn't go through with it, and that gave him the opening to actually make a killing strike. This happened twice in quick succession; Sakura would be dead by his hand if not for Kakashi and then Naruto saving her.
Your point became wrong when you said it was well written when in fact, it was not.

What I mean by that is that he tried to write Naruto like it's one of those teenage Disney sitcoms (like ANT Farm or Girl Meets World) where the only problems are tests and bullies and also a ninja story where you have to save the village/world in order to keep it from being destroyed (or, at least, in Konoha's case, being destroyed more times than it already has).
This is why he wrote Sakura as a typical teenage valley girl instead of someone who's meant to be in the military which was why she couldn't kill Sasuke. She still had the mentality of a high schooler at the time.
This was also why he wrote Naruto to be a doofus, a goofball, a horndog (he can't stop thinking about Sakura) and a dumbass but that's irrelevant here.
I like Naruto but I *cannot* deny that it's atrociously written at times. If you wanted to make a high school anime, make a high school anime and if you want to make a military anime or at least a military school anime, then make *that* kind of anime. Don't try to mash the two together like they're a 2 for 1 deal, Kishi. That's all I'm sayin'.
I wouldn't called very well written but definitely it's not as Bad as people make it look. Sasuke show in intances on early Naruto that he has feelings for Sakura and in Shippuden he only tries to kill her because that man at his lowest he is ever been. And I gotta Say i really like their relationship in Boruto, one of the few good things of Boruto
