Re-watch the episode and it becomes clear that Jenn's issues with Kat actually have nothing to do with Justin. She's furious about not being able to skate anymore and she's using a love rivalry over Justin as an excuse to be mad at Kat. It's totally unfair but that's how Jenn chose to deal with it, by being a terrible friend.

Kat would've been there to comfort her and give her support. Who knows? Maybe Kat would've ended up telling Jenn about her bipolar in return. I know Jenn told Kat about how she re-injured her hip, but she didn't outright say that she wasn't going to be able to skate anymore. If she had just told Kat exactly how badly she re-injured her hip, Kat wouldn't have judged her. She would've been there for her, which in turn, would've stopped Kat's downward spiral
I think the issue is deeper than Kat sleeping with Justin. Jenn is hurt because Kat never told her it happened. Jenn is a much more open and honest friend to Kat than Kat is to her. It’s an uneven friendship, perhaps due to Kat’s illness, which isn’t Kat’s fault. If Kat had told her first and apologized Jenn probably would have forgiven her. And if Kat had talked to Jenn way earlier she could have said she’s having feelings for Justin. Jenn would have likely been sad but ultimately told Kat to go for it because she wants her friend to be happy. Kat isn’t communicating well because she’s manic. Jenn feels disrespected and hurt by Kat and lashes back, not knowing about Kat’s illness. Jenn’s anger further fuels Kat’s downward spiral.

When you add that in, it's no wonder why Kat didn't tell Jenn about the night with Justin. She could've accidentally let something about her bipolar slip in the process. Plus, Jenn only said that she wanted a one-night stand with Justin, not a full-on relationship. Justin was clearly into Kat, and with time, Kat formed the same feelings. Also, Jenn was pissed for other reasons. She wasn't gonna be able to skate for long, and instead of just telling this to Kat and confiding in her, she used a love rivalry to be angry and lash out at her, which doesn't make any sense at all, and also brings me to my other point.
