They're from So Cal. There are tons of urban/hip hop Asians, ever seen America's Best dance crew? lol Tim is especially hood. He grew up in Paramount, which is right next to Compton. A lot of people on Tim not knowing much about Asian culture but the fact is he's a different type of Asian. He's Thai-American and grew up in the hood.
Fung Bros also do food videos but they're not as dope as Tim and David So

Paramount is right next to Compton,, and doesn't have a large population of Asians. 626 cities such as Arcadia, Alhambra, and Monterey Park, or OC cities such as Westminster/Garden Grove/Buena Park also have larger Asian populations. For the Bay Area, Oakland is notoriously known as a "ghetto" area, while Elk Grove, CA is seen as middle to upper class.
