I've missed you. It's so nice to see you back and so happy. I feel exhausted just listening to what you have been up to. I guess that's why I'm retired. Lol. I would have loved it when I was younger.
Tilly and the buttons has a detachable collar pattern just like the one on the sweatshirt you are planning to make. I think it's even free, and quite cute.

Thank you so much, honestly I’m so lucky even if permanently exhausted! It is a complete joy being able to support new mothers and their babies. You are not alone with the holes. Lots of people seem to have our problem! I’ve been recommended silicone jeans button covers, will let you know if they are any good 🥰

You are not alone. The Holé button covers really work, I’ve been using them for a while and no more holes in my new tops 😊

You are always worth waiting for😍. I am a shorty and always get holes in tops. I kept thinking it was moths! I think the safety belt in the car doesn’t help and I sit at a desk at work which also contributes. I was a Le Leche League counsellor when my girls were babies ( youngest just turned 31!). It’s a joy to see mothers feeding their babies.

I used to get mysterious tiny holes in my knit shirts and finally realized that the rough stone edge of my kitchen counter top was the cause. I tried to always wear an apron in the kitchen. I hope you find a good use for that beautiful blouse fabric. Zipper bags or quilting squares? Happy sewing to you.

Great to hear about your jobs! The old problem of not having enough experience but how do you get experience if you’re not given a chance? Love your cotton lawn from Sam, it would make new Libby too. Don’t worry about the parents seeing you in your pants since it was their baby who threw up over you and not them! They are lucky to have you. But spare pjs would be a great idea! And another great idea with the Peter Pan collar!

You are a tonic. I only had the Internet to help with breast feeding and struggled, such a fab thing to learn. I didnt know at the time but due to a traumatic birth my milk wasn't coming through and aiden had tongue tie and wasn't latching on very well. Lovely yo see you on youtube again ❤❤❤

Hi there Katherine, lovely to see you on You Tube again. Just wondering if you’d considered making a Peter Pan collar as an accessory piece that could be added to any sweatshirt/top - rather than having a fixed liberty collar on one particular piece? You could mix and match your sweatshirts and liberty collars - lots of versatility.
