    • @graspengineering9249
      @graspengineering9249  Před 5 lety +2

      You need to check the quality of the elements. like aspect ration, jacobian, skewness, min & max. angles, etc. All this parameters have specific range, you should limit your element characteristics within that range.

    Hello sir , how can I sort the error saying: the mesh generation did not complete due to poor quality elements or incorrect input.
    please try meshing with another mesh method or different mesh option.
    As I have tried different settings but still showing this error .
    Sir please can you guide me , what to do..
    Thanks in advance ..

      It may varry from geometry to geometry. We do not know your problem statement. But try to give body sizing and method (Tetra, hex) to individual components and try.

      @@graspengineering9249 Is your ANSYS a paid version? As I dont have proximity n all options in mesh?

    • @graspengineering9249
      @graspengineering9249  Před 5 lety

      It should present with students version. You can do local mesh if proximity is not working. Sometime local mesh without proximity setting gives good mesh with less node count.

      @graspengineering9249  Před 2 lety

      It might be due to ANSYS Version. Try to use Latest ANSYS version for newer setting on mesh controls. We will update this video as per new setting too.

  • @RobertBaiko
    @RobertBaiko Před 3 lety +1

    You don't have to clear the mesh every time you change a mesh setting. You just remesh and it will toss the previous mesh.

    • @graspengineering9249
      @graspengineering9249  Před 3 lety +1

      It is okay for single component. If you have multiple components then it is better to clear the mesh and then do remesh.

Also we are working on few courses once completed, will update you. There are so many platform where you will found ANSYS courses but I am not sure about the depth they have covered.

    Hi, thank you for sharing your knowledge! :)
    If someone ask me how big is your mesh, do I need to say 18,640 elements or 33,275 (@27:25)?

    • @graspengineering9249
      @graspengineering9249  Před 3 lety +3

      The FEA calculation are performed on nodes, so the number of nodes represent the mesh count. But while showing FEA mesh number, you should show both number of elements and node count.

      Yes. But when you have more components in that, you will need to clear the mesh.
