My buddy played me this song called carousel in the early 2000s that he stole from his big brothers room, with a cat on the cover of the CD.....fell in love instantly to that off pitch whine of Tom, the rest was literally history.
It was blink's prime... such a shame that there was so much tension between all of them behind all of the success. They could have gone so much further.

I got into blink rather late, when I was 14 when the self titled album came out. Always listened to grunge so to me it was almost a natural liking for this album which is probably the most dark and more complex of blink. Chord progressions and the whole concept is rather mature and interesting compare to the previous ones. I just consider it a masterpiece.

New Found Glory, there best 2 great albums is "stick & stones and Coming Home" Those album are still played to this day just like Yellow cards "Ocean Avenue" that band really wanted to prove a point and they did. as weird as it sounds, I like Tom's voice like this, raw, loud and all that good stuff. It's what their music is about, none of this auto-tuned bullshit, just raw emotion.

i always loved the color scheme they used on this album that also coincided with their clothes. It wasn't a coincidence it was a theme and it was awesome.
Around this time is when Tim started really experimenting with his voice, and changing it, becoming the Tom we know today! It was so wild back then to hear his vocal difference between take off your pants and jacket, to self titled! I love Tom’s voice now baby prior to self titled! I don’t know why!
