Onigashima is the dragons's head from void century, the one that Ryunma has cut.
This theory doesn't make any sense for a simple single reason
If they were born out of what happen on the void century

Thanks for this, this is why I want Oda to rest and be able to finish his entire story. Anyone who wants Oda to work himself to death needs to look at themselves in the mirror and think if they can do more in their lives.
So there is an ancient family known as Nerona, that has hearts on their buildings the look like Perona's heart hat? Huh, Oda was sloppy on that little detail it would seem.
It's not work, the man is passionate about his story he loves drawing his characters and storyline.

Then VIVI being the true ancient weapon user for URANUS makes sense to me.
Having JOYBOY/LUFFY befriending all 3 ancient weapons on his journey makes poetic sense for his character too.
Hence, Imu needs the mother flames to force URANUS into use

WAIT isn't it even better if the reason Imu swapped body with Lily was BECAUSE she wanted to be able to control the ancient weapon Uranus !
Instead of Imu receiving the ancient weapon, she was just a person who created devil fruits and such, and then made use of the ope ope no mi to switch with her and 'become her' thus gaining her powers on Uranus.
Theory time of mine:
There are two ways to awaken a zoan. It's either make a pact with the Devil in it or use your willpower and experience to influence the devil instead of the vice versa.
People who are not powerful enough end up like the jailer beasts in Impel Down. They cannot handle the devil influence. They're doomed from the start, even before the pact.
Others have a limit like Lucci and Kaku. That's why Kaku told Lucci to be careful with the Zoan awakening. His body can only handle so much devil influence from the pact.
The Gorosei are powerful enough to assert a connection with their devil. They work together, kinda like Naruto and Kurama, minus the friendship.
Luffy and Yamato used their sheer determination to be the one in control of their fruits instead of going "yayah satan let's work together shake my hand and the devil fruit awakens," they say "fuck satan I do what I want my fruit my rules." They beat down the devil influence and truly awaken.
That's why the ribbons of the gorosei, lucci, and kaku are dark. They didn't awaken their fruits with their own will. Probably, they meditated or did some stupid ritual to make deals with their devils, so, it takes two to tango, and they're not fully in control 100 percent, unlike Luffy and Yamato.

Oh. Non-awakened users, when the fruit is powerful enough or the user is very creative, can summon their devil but cannot impose their will on it due to lack of a relationship.

@@BrainGamesPQ Who said that? To me its unclear until we got more details on their powers. At this point they could have devil fruits, it could be even something else more powerful, but i dont remember whilst reading that anywhere was a 100% accurate statement of denial or conformation for a DF.

I believe their power is bestowed to them by Imu granting them immense power and immortality. But their immortality has a weakness and it’ll be exploited.
The original mother flame was the breath of a dragon or multiple dragons(celestial dragons), used either hot air balloon style or as a generator to power the ancient weapon.
Also would be pretty cool if the flame flame fruit was given to Ace because it could meet the same criteria to fulfill the one piece prophecy with an ancient weapon. Then eaten by Sabo who uses dragon based attacks.
I could totally see Sabo’s flame and Dragons wind to magnify the flame being used with the ancient weapon to be what takes down the red line in the end.

It's not even in the title of the video but it's litteraly the best Blackbeard theory ever.
It's very solid because
- "unlike other logias"... because it's not, it's a mythical zoan, just like how you want important characters to have great powers, they have mythical zoans (Luffy, Kaido, Saturn, imo Dragon too, then also Blackbeard)
- explains its power to cancel devil fruits
- explain gravity like powers that Imu similarly had probably
- explain the 'darkness' because it's a devil
- makes sense the world gov would want to hide its existence, as they already did with Nika
- it could be the explaination to how BB's crew is able to 'steal' devil fruits
- it's related to a possible explaination of how BB got 2 devil fruits (but if that's the explaination, why not more? maybe it's just very hard physically still? Or maybe he can/will have >2DFs...)
It doesn't explain everything about BB (why did he not sleep before eating the fruit? "Them" ?)

Something that never fully sat well with me was the idea that only Zoan devil fruits have a will of their own, the Kaku statement about gravitational pulls should also apply to the Awa Awa no Mi, and if your theory of giving life to Logia is true, then it should stand to reason that any devil fruit could have a will of it's own, however small

I like the theory, but there is a point about Imu being the creator of the fruits. Why make the nikka and other similar ones? It's more likely that the fruits are separated, for example were an asset of the kingdom and Imu made some adjustments, since nature hated the advancement of that kingdom. With Oda, even after 25+ years you still have so many possibilities, it's kinda crazy tbh
Imu didn't make the fruits themselves probably - he made the mechanism to make them. The Magical Tree, basically. You wish to become fire? Eat a fruit, become fire! You wish to become the Sun? Here it is.
If the Yami-Yami no mi has the power to negate any other devil fruit, and Imu has this power - it doesn't really matter to him, what exact fruits are created.

Oh god nika. Your theorie is awesome. I think your theories are (in general) the best I hear about the different one piece subject. You do relatively little overinterpretation and you remain simple, which means that your theories are rarely the most extravagant and therefore makes them more credible.
Also (and above all) your theories give a new reading to one piece but without needing to look far from Oda's work and that’s exactly what a theory is for; giving meaning to one piece (and not trying to warn Assguy has the zoan mythicals fruit of my ass which changes... nothings exept make the meaning inconsistent)

Imu probably had died in his or her last vessel, which causes their will to be imbedded into a fruit. That same will is the Dark Fruit, to which Blackbeard obtained. Shanks went to the Gorosei to warn about Blackbeard that he might eventually overthrow Imu, and Shanks probably doesn't want that for his own mystery reasons.

True. And brings up some questions.. just how much of this was written before it was being animated and published? And if the answer is none, or just concepts.. then how much of the story, going forward, has he written? Or has it all been stuff he's been essentially spitballing on the fly? Because regardless of the answers, Oda is absolutely a literary beast, but depending on some of the answer to some of these questions.. it would only magnify the epic-ness of his genius.
I am a sucker for good stories. Like many humans.. but there are VERY few stories I've come across that have sucked me in so much as the unfolding story of One Piece.
I'm genuinely being blown away constantly. Hanging on the edge of every chapter waiting for the next one. It's truly been an amazing ride, and I've only been a fan for a few years. I hope Oda has a long and fruitful life full of good health into his golden years. My only fear is he may die before deciding when a good time to finish the story is. (If it isn't already done being written or close to it)
I'd hate to see this beautiful modern day Odyssey turn into THAT kind of tragedy. If anyone deserves to be remembered forever for making an animated epic, it's absolutely Eiichiro Oda. May the universe bless that man's soul.
The "arrow" that imu uses to strike down king cobra really looks more like a devil's tail than an arrow
Imu has Kami Kami no mi ~ god god fruit. Hito hito no mi vs Kami Kami no mi will be the peak of the underlying Prometheus theme that runs throughout the anime.
in many myths, the creation/creator said to rise from the primordial sea, like Vishnu that became to be from a devine lotus.
in Persian myth, there the tree of life "the progenitor of all seeds", that is the phenix-like devine lion-bird, that break the branches when land on him, cause the seed to fall, and then Vayu the devine wind spread them to the rest of the world.

I would like to contribute more… Lily was the person who had control over the dragon and her successor is obviously Vivi D Nefertari, our nakama! And thats why Imu had her just next to Luffy and Shirahoshi, also because every location of the weapons is spoken in the country of the user who control it, so the Arabasta poneglypgh would be like the poneglyph of Wano so the successor knows what to do. Furthermore, Imu could be the Myth inside Lily’s Body and the first thing she tried when Imu had control over the dragon was to destroy Wano and lost it. I think Imu had to be from the Ancient Kingdom and maybe after a deadly fight where she almost dies like Joyboy, changed into Lilis body to control the dragon after the letter was found (Lily betrayed the ancient kingdom and joined Imu, maybe she was undercover all along or she regrets betraying Joyboy). I think mother flame is the artificial energy made by Vegapunk to replace the person controlling the Ship, maybe the original energy was from Joyboy like the ancient robot. It’s an amazing and Mind Blowing theory!! Nice video!!

I didn’t like your first video in this series… but this one is full of greatness! First great idea is of course the weapons are beast/ship/human commander hybrids… this makes it hard to control and this a threat that can’t be used easily by the government. That is why they wanted the pluton blueprints so bad because they can’t use the original without the deceased bloodline of kozuki(they probably do not know who Momo really is). So if they can make a new one perhaps they can control who lineage factor will control it? The second he part that is great and absolutely must be the case is that king Lily was Uranus and king Nerona took over her body and control of Uranus. That is the only possibility when you point out all the hints, Dofy did mention the personality swap. Imu refers to himself in the third person… and Oda is hiding the face because he looks like a twin to vivi! But the gorosei refer to him as male king imu. So what if Vivi is his target because the lineage factor makes it so they both can control Uranus creature and ship. Probably Luffy can produce an eternal flame/artificial sun that would power the world forever but also the weapons to end it! Then the last great idea is that Blackbeard has the imu fruit! That is interesting so we have a person with the power to negate devil fruits and this turn them on and off and have multiple fruits at once! But also the god it’s based on is still here? This one is less likely but a great idea. The only thing is teach had a weird body before eating the fruit? I suppose he could be a buccaneer and then the natural enemy of imu has imu fruit? I don’t know but this was a fun video full of good ideas
My take:
Imu is a pure royal blood from the ancient kingdom. His half brother is Joyboy born from a commoner concubine. The King wants to pass the crown to Joyboy coz he sees darkness in Imu but joyboy doesn't want it coz he doesn't want to be tied in a single place. Joyboy wants to go to the sea and be free, while Imu covets the throne. Since the King officially passed the throne to Joyboy, Imu started a rebellion and intice the 25 kingdoms to destroy the Ancient Kingdom.
Btw, the King's Name of the Ancient Kingdom is Nikka.

Loving the series, but just wanted to add something about the kanji used for Tenryuubito and Uranus. The kanji used for these is not the same, in fact it's almost completely different. The only kanji that's the same is 天["ten"](sky/heaven), the other two kanji used in the words are different. 天竜人(tenryuubito) = "heaven + dragon +people" and 天王星(tennousei) = "heaven + king + planet/star". They're two completely different words, and have no connection other than the kanji 'ten' that means "heaven/sky". It's still a noteworthy connection, but wanted to add my two cents since I do think that's an important distinction to make, given how important word play and kanji is in manga, especially for Oda.

Your Ryuma Dragon point doesn’t work because Ryuma was born 400 years ago on new Wano.
800 years ago the walls were created.
Some time later old Wano got submerged in rainwater.
Between 600-500 years ago Oars took some islands from the world and created new Wano and that’s why the regions have different climates.
Oars died 500 years ago. He was 159 years old at that point which means between 600-500 years ago he created new Wano.
400 years ago Ryuma was born in Ringo, which is in New Wano and not in old Wano. And that’s where he also died due to a sickness and he was buried there with his sword Shusui.
Unless you want to make the argument that old Wano also had a Ringo which was also a cold Region AND that Moria took a submarine to go there and grab Shusui and Ryumas corpse it just doesn’t add up.

(thunder bagua luffy's head) it was too abvious that's inspired from cuphead lol, no wonder why were seeing so much references everywhere about imu with cuphead devil's scenes! Man I really love that game and it's music ❤️

It would be interesting if the World Government made their own version of Uranus which is powered by the Mother Flame, and the original Uranus ended up on the moon with Enel. It's a stretch, but it would bring that cover story back into relevance at least 😅

Seeing that all the gorosei's DF's are literal yokais......I tried to see the devil of the sea and got a rather interesting yokai.... The Sazae oni....it's form almost represents the scene where imu's df silhouette was visible. The little horn with 2 white eyes and 2 big hands. Please check this yokai out. Maybe this is what Imu's DF is .

The reason Blackbeard's fruit doesn't function as a logia (letting attacks go through it) is because we've only ever seen it in its' natural weakness, which is light. Just like Crocodile couldn't have attacks go through him when he was wet (his natural weakness), so is Blackbeard's darkness fruit. I believe that if we ever see him fight during the night, or in a dark room, attacks will go through him like with any other logia fruit.
Yes! And that's why he covered Whitebeard body up when he stole his power, as he needed the total darkness.

I know this isn't super relevant to the video, but just wanted to point out that Lillith wasn't introduced until MUCH later extra-Biblical stories were created during the Middle Ages and wasn't part of the original story from 1000+ years earlier. Otherwise awesome video man, this makes a lot of sense!
Imu isn't an ancient weapon and neither is the weapon that destroyed Lulusia. It was stated very clearly that Vegapunk invented the weapon that destroyed Lulusia. Effectively Vegapunk's studies of the ancient Kingdom and ancient weapons created a new ancient weapon the "Mother Flame".
