$1.40 Curry in Chinatown Bangkok at Jek Pui is a must-try street food.
It was recommended to us by Netflix, and it did not disappoint. Exploring Bangkok's epic Chinatown is one of the best things to do in Bangkok. Bangkok's Chinatown is a bustling part of the city known for its late night street food scene. Here's where we went in Chinatown: Wat Traimit (Golden Buddha), Odean Crab Wonton Noodle, Jek Pui Thai Food, and Yaowarat Toasted Buns.
☸️ Wat Traimit - This temple is home to the world's largest Buddha made from solid gold. Tickets are 40 baht ($1.12).
🍜 Odean Crab Wonton Noodle - This restaurant is known for its crab wonton noodles. The dish is made up of crab claw meat, egg noodles, and broth. The noodles are 75 baht ($2.10).
🍛 Jek Pui Thai Food - This place was featured in Street Food Asia on Netflix. They are known for their Thai curry. We got the yellow curry with sausage. The curry is 50 baht ($1.40).
🍮 Yaowarat Toasted Buns - This place is known for grilling buns and then adding an assortment of fillings. We opted for the chocolate filling. One bun is 25 baht ($.70)|.
