I like smart, but if we had Porziņģis against Miami, we would have gone to the finals. We are getting him in his prime now. I can’t freaking wait for the season to start. I’m just as excited as I was when we got Garnet.

This is a big upgrade. Nothing was bad with Marcus as a player but when something isn’t working changes have to be made and that’s what brad did. Nothing wrong with that.

This is seriously such a huge improvement to the lineup. Having a true big who can defend other big men like Bam, Giannis, or Embiid in the post and also stretch the floor fixes the biggest issues this team had in the playoffs these past two years.

Porzingis does well if there isnt too much pressure given to him on the offense he can make tough shots confidently. With Tatum and Brown, he is going to get a lot of easy shots

I’m loving how he is emphasizing the fact that it’s going to take some time for those three to build that chemistry and relationship of trust on the court. That’s huge for JT and JB a new guy who is excited to want to build something special and with JB and JT it’s gonna take a lot of usage off KP’s shoulders I will miss smart but I’m extremely excited for what this three does 💯💯💯
Well said... This will take enormous amounts of pressure off of all three of them. One of them will be open at almost all times and teams will be scared to double or triple team them on defense.

I’m a new Celtics fan now. Became a KP fan the night he got booed at the draft. Then later when I realized the Lakers passed up on drafting him, I said “I hope he goes to the Celtics one day and wins rings.” When Kobe retired, I retired as a fan of the Lakers. The owners and GM don’t know what they are doing and it’s been like that for years. For years Kobe played with bums. It’s cool that Kris is wearing Kobe’s first number. Celtics will 3peat!

@@flusin4934 KP was having a great playoff against the clippers and it looked like Dallas would win the series, the bubble year and game 4 tore his meniscus in the knee and the next two years he was in recovery until last year.
@@judeshaw yeah, bubble PO was insane run from him, but next years ruined by injury, nothing u can do about it. He is great, just need to stay healty.

Great trade, we weren’t going anywhere if the team stood intact.
Hes hitting the press corps with all of the cut/paste cliche’s and keeping things very bland, which should temper expectations.
The Celtics roster is going to undergo some serious changes in terms of how games will be played simply based on better personnel in the middle. There will be some rough waters, but when/if this team gels, it should very tough to beat in a seven game series.
Joe still looks and sounds clueless. If the team has a stretch of bad performances, Brad may have to pull the plug before Joe's mere presence tanks the prospects for a title winner.

Joe Muzzulla will be the downfall of this team if there is one. He doesn't seem to be very confident or a good leader. I also believe he's lost the respect of the men in the locker room as well.
Well, he now has top level assistants & an entire offseason to prepare. So hopefully, he grows into it. He had absolutely no experience making postseason, in game, adjustments. That wasn’t his fault. We’ll just need to see cone playoffs next year.

robert williams great shot blocker and rebounder but clogs the paint. al horford great defender but he's pushing 40 or close to it. getting porzingis who can rebound but most importantly stretch the floor is a W, it will help tatum and brown attack the paint with more open space and if teams clog the paint every shooter on the celtics starting lineup can shoot a 3 which is very dangerous.
