and drives 50 miles an hour? Women in dresses and men in suits were jumping out of our way, scrambling for their life? ROFLMAO! We made it back on time.

The music video was directed by Michael Merriman, and premiered on CMT on February 5, 1998, during The CMT Delivery Room. The video begins with the CD putting into the stereo, and turns the volume up. Various guests arrived at the cabin. Throughout the video, Byrd was singing the song at a cabin, and sits on the stereo, in the kitchen with two women, and some guys cooking on the grill. The last scene of the video shows Byrd jumping into the hot tub. He blows his candle out, and the video ends.🙂
Used to listen to this song all the time going from Smoot, Wyoming to Cheyenne with my mom and step dad, riding in his '85 Ford, pulling a horse trailer on our way to the rodeos... I had an awesome childhood.

I'm very disappointed time flying by fast, people are getting older, people are passing away, things are changing like Ottawa radio and TV channels like CMT Canada they don't play music video like this anymore and it's 7:57 now that's not good. I don't want to be older because I'm scared of death. I want to stay young and alive on earth forever. I want to get a time machine and go back when I was born in 1989 and start my life again as a baby. When 1998 come again I able to watch good music video like this again on CMT Canada.

My mother and I are from a small town that has a little over 2,000 people and everyone was into everyone's business. All that town was good for was gossiping. She and I use to sing this song about our town, only we use to sing it:

Love me some Tracy Byrd, been a fan since he started, seen him in concert 5 times back in the early 2000s. He's just awesome. Funny thing is while I was watching this video I had to laugh when he sings bout how "I'm from the country and I like it that way" which, it's all good cept I can't help but laugh hearing him sing the words while sitting there with that pleat in his jeans. I never quite got over the whole pleat in the blue jeans thing.
