- So some of you may have heard that Ubisoft turned back on the online services for Far Cry 3 without warning, which has been a welcome surprise to a lot of us. So of course getting a game was tricky, but in the end managed to get one!

Far Cry 3 is so good
I just wrote ticket to Ubisoft Support, because it doesn't make sense to have achievements on their platform which are NOT achievable. Or they have to bring the servers back or they need to remove these Co-Op achievements from their platform. Simply as that.
WTF!? I am ok vacation since 3 weeks i couldn’t play anything, but i will try to play this Friday when i am back home hopefully i can play the multiplayer, because i used to play this on my PS3 back in 2013.

Blast from the past. I remember playing this on Xbox 360 years ago. I'm not really fps games but I still had a lot of fun with this game. One of my favorites of all time

Yeah I informed cpg that servers are back, my friend first told me I did not believe then ì went to check it out myself and it was true and even that same day I was talking about if someone is gonna revive fc3 😊 and it just game back 😊

Oh my goodness I really truly miss the online multiplayer on this game so much like it bring back so many memories on my PlayStation 4 system, and I really hope they bring it back online
Have you checked if the PS4 version is back online, the PC version was brought back online so you never know!
doesn't seem to be working on the Steam version, still getting an error about the multiplayer servers no longer being available

I received a Far Cry 3 update today on Steam. I was confused given that the servers were turned off. Why keep updating a game they don't care about and what on Earth was the fix/update ? I was confused. I'll load it because the last time I did I wanted to replay one of the Trials of the Rakyat because a pal had broken my record. I wanted it back but couldn't get it. I was furious lol. I wonder if it's possible now? I will go and check. Can't be having one of my prick of a pals outdoing me !
From what i have read, the update now completely disables the network function.

So I re installed just for the Steam version is still offline? That's cringe.. Did they actually bring them back or did they just forget to close servers on the Ubisoft Connect version? Does it work on Xbox? I have the game on 360 but not gonna waste my time buying 1 month Live if it doesn't work on there too. Wouldn't mind playing this again, was fun back in the day.
came here to say, xbox 360 and xbox series x both has farcry 3 coop campaign support, idk about multiplayer. but its dead though, been trying to find people for days.. i think what i remembered doing was press skip when it asked to uplay register but i could be wrong.. tried to do the same on ps3 but it wont let me. on pc steam it doesnt work unless mods or something

It was shut down last september 2022, but then randomly brought back with not warning
@@ClassicPCgames-Shauneyboy did you buy the game through ubisoft or steam like me? I cant seem to connect to online servers still. But from a little bit of searching around i found that supposedly many steam buyers are having the same problem.

@@jamesmata2945 how? when i try to skip or register or try to log into my ubisoft acc it either says my shit is invalid or error. works on xbox 360/xbox one though, but not the "claassic edition", just the normal one. its even on xbox digital store
