PLEASE READ THIS
When me and my friend were building this we got a really bad spawn, the worst part being the nearest jungle around 11,000 blocks away. If you also get a spawn with no jungle or one far away, collect - Jungle planks and DO NOT forget Cocoa beans. You need them to make the brown concrete and its a major pain in the ass to go back. I don't want anyone to have to watch this tutorial as much as I have, so here you go.

for those wondering an estimate build time:
I started this build on the 24th of April in survival. If I had to guess, I roughly played for 3/4 of the days in a week, and each play session being around an hour to 3/4 hours. Since I had to constantly get the materials and etc, a lot of the time wasn't me building but rather preparing. Not to mention, sometimes the camera angles weren't clear so I had to restart a few parts many times. I finished the build today on the 8th of May. I used my Nintendo Switch to watch this video and I normally don't use my switch for yt, and it says that I have 30 hours of youtube on my switch. This means that my Nintendo switch was on youtube for this build for probably 28 of the hours. Soooo a rough survival buildtime estimate is around 25-32ish hours if you played non stop. If you played 3-4 days in a week for around 1 hour- 4 hours it would probably take around 2 weeks. Overall, its super worth it, its a great big project and it looks great in my world. Good luck :)

This is great but it’s hard to follow could you do like a step by step tutorial
honestly took me forever to do. i had to pause and slow down to .25 every 2-5 secs just to follow an understand. the build came out great but omg was it near impossible to follow at times. i had to redo parts so much because of how fast with out explaining or giving some part measurement.

I had to look at a picture and go from there the only thing this video helped me with was size even then was kinda trash and I made the railing but removed it right away cause I switched back to survival
On the sail when you said "make it 3 dimensional" that was basically just saying "now undo all of that and redo it differently."
You could have just shown how to make it 3 dimensional in the first place.

In addition to the angles that are kind of bad n made in layers q like someone in survival would do, A TIP TO WHOM YOU WANT TO DO: Do it in layers from the end of the hull upwards, skipping the video and seeing how you do it from the bottom up

for anyone who was confused by this video try doing step 3 or the bottom of the boat first then doing the glass thing with gray concreate then do the top it makes life way easier

im trying to make something like that too but in roblox build a boat for treasure.not with normal blocks and with micro blocks so it looks more cooler(if you dont know micro block its basically a block that is soo small that its hard to see)

How about, you make it an actual tutorial and stop being lazy, or you change the title to “I made the Going Merry.” Because honestly this is an amazing build, but the video itself is not a tutorial or how-to. Some simple parts are very detailed (like the using glass to count distance between mast and the doors) but the more complex parts (like the head and anchor) just jump around. Like I said, amazing build, but there is definitely room for improvement in terms of the structure of the video itself.
