I can assure you dogs dont understand English. They remember key sounds from repetition and positive outcomes. For example when I say sit my dog sits. I could’ve trained him to sit with any word, didn’t have to be sit.

This is the type of dog that when they die, that specific living space will just never be the same. She’s just got so much character and is so sweet. Hate to bring that up but i cant help but think that way sometimes.

He was my dog first, then the family’s dog second. There was one time when my husband was giving him orders to do something and Pepper looked at me to confirm the order 😂 my husband was like: ‘Don’t look at her, just do what I said’ I just nodded my head and Pepper complied. My husband likes telling that story. 😂😂 I did figure out how to get rid of the stinky farts 💨 GF dog food.

Talk about a Smart. Sweet an Adorable Golden that actually answers his momma. What a beautiful girl who loves his conversation with his mama. I love the way they talk back and forth , i s so special and see her sitting right in front of his mommy is so precious and very special. She is such a beautiful Golden Girl and absolutely is so smart. Did she learn the No headshake, 😊including talking and does she answer YES in the same way? With an answer of yes while speaking and the yes headskake😅? She is so smart. What a special little girl who knows exactly how to get mom to pay attention to her. So smart and what fun she is having.. Make sure to keep this tucked away in your memory box so when you want to look back at June and all the great, happy, funny, sweet, loveable, special things she has done over her lifetime with you. She is a very special, intelligent, loving, kindhearted , girl who loves having you as her mommie. She makes my heart smile reminding me of my very #1 special boy, Snickers, and I wish I had done a memory box for him. I lost him over 20 yrs ago, to a very senseless, careless, boarding facility reason, which resulted in his death. I've never forgiven myself for even putting him the best kennel in our area. My neighbor would usually watch him if we went away which wasn't often because of him not being able to go. He was my all time favorite Golden Boy I've ever owned. I miss him every single day and it has been over 20 yrs. To really to throw gasoline on fire, I took my ex Husband and young daughter on a cruise to Bermuda, which sucked with 20 foot seas going down and weather sucked. All for his 40th bday. Wish I took my boy, Snickers, and daughter so much more than my ex. Never forgave husband and never will. We divorced in 2005 and husband died in 2009. As they say, Karma is a bitch something I believe in.. Enjoy your sweet prescious June for ever. Sadly they're with us long enough. Adorable video, thanks loved it

They were not extremely intelligent, they were probably average, like 99,9% of all dogs regardless of breed.

The way you know a dog is loved by their human is the humans ability to communicate with him. Most people see a dog as a dog, but some of us know they are angels. I never had to train any of my dogs...I just had to communicate with them. ❤
I don't know else to train a dog besides just constant communication. They'll pick up on it eventually, even if you're speaking full sentences. People underestimate how much the average dog can retain and comprehend.
