Rochdale MP and left-wing politician George Galloway spoke to Sky News on Friday, stating that no state, including Israel, “has a right to exist.” Galloway, who recently won the Rochdale by-election with a significant margin, advocated for a “democratic secular state” in Israel-Palestine.
Galloway, representing the Workers Party of Britain, won almost 40 percent of the votes and nearly 6,000 more votes than his nearest rival.

I’m not exactly a Zionist, I’m Christian, but I think he chose a poor analogy when he mentioned South Africa 🇿🇦 We all know apartheid there was heinous, but things there now are also not great. Israel currently has a successful economy. Democracy and freedom are very important but some thought also needs to go into economics. If they were follow that democratic solution from the start, likely there would be a state there now, called Palestine, with predominantly Palestinian population and a significant Jewish minority. The most economic and pragmatic solution would be a single secular state with equal rights for all. With some sort of reconciliation council like they did in South Africa. To heal the wounds of the psychological damage that has been done.
With two states, there's the underlying problem of border. Isreal joined UN under the condition to respect the 1948 borders, but it keeps encroaching the neighbouring Palestine with its settlements and occupation so officially there is no border.
Unless Isreal would agree to honour their previous agreements on border (doubtful) then two states will never be a feasible, justifiable, equal option. Especially since the so PM and cabinets have laid out the plans to claim not only Palestine lands but also Jordan, Isreal will never answer to any ruling as long as US of A still covers their behind.
The problem is, there exist those who doesn't belong there that likes how it feels to colonize others... Best solution to galloways suggestion is to determine through DNA on who is actually the descendant of the land... & let them vote for the new United States of Jurusalem😊

Arabs (including what's called now Palestinians) rejected it and invaded Israel. Moreover, the so called occupied territories were in Arab hands. So why didn't they create a Palestinian state at the time? Why, even, the 1964 PLOcovenant explicetely said that they wanted to free 1948 Palestine, and that they had no claim on the now so-called occupied territories ?
