      He plays hero ball because he CANT READ DEFENSES. nothing has been more obvious on film than that. Y’all blinded by “hero” ball. That “hero” ball is because he FAILED to do his job in the first 3.5 seconds of the play. He is gonna get demolished in the pros. This kid will be front and center in the long line of QB busts. He is Cam Newton at best. He had 10x’s the talent on his team than Cam did and couldn’t even get outta the Pac10 er 12 er 2… this Cryin Caleb trash has mee rollin. Please Chicago draft this clown

    I agree with the good comments here with one caveat: if you compared what you're calling "hitting the receiver In Stride" with footage of Aaron Rodgers doing the same, you'd see a difference. Just because a receiver doesn't have to stop doesn't mean they're still in stride.
    Rodgers hits them in a way that doesn't require them to even change speeds. _That_ is in stride. What you're showing here is receivers that wouldn't be able to get away with slowing down like that in coverage at the NFL level. Defenses are better there.
    It's fine, it doesn't change the overall assessment. I'd advise taking this into consideration going into the future. Now I'll check out your other vids because I *like* analysis. & this _is_ really good.

    Every highlight ive seen is caleb scrambling for a big run or scrambling and then throwing a pass. Thats the same highlights ive seen from justin fields in the pros. Fields is so athletic and a magician. Thank you for showing actual PASSES in the pocket. I can get a better look at his decision making skills and release speed. I already know he has a strong arm. Remember when Trevor Lawrence was called "generational"? That hasn't panned out with his 20-30 record as a starter and career QB rating of 85, while being supported with coaching and weapons. Caleb isn't without his own issues, some large enough to be considered red flags. Really hoping Ryan Poles and the Bears trade down from #1 and let someone else make the mistake.

    • @shake6321
      @shake6321 Před 3 měsíci +4

      trev was top 10 in passing yards this year and is a top 7 qb when given protection.
      if caleb is trev then he’d be way better than fields and the best qb in bears history.
      put trev with dj, odonze, kmet and our budding defense and we make it to multiple super bowls.
      i’ll be ecstatic with trev. i’ll take a better kyler or mayfield as well. they are all much better than justin. justin can’t pass. great kid. awful passing qb. he is years away and will prob be a back up very soon.

    • @Gray_Bush
      @Gray_Bush Před 3 měsíci

      @@shake6321 Being top 10 in passing yards is a glory stat. Considering the hype, draft status, and expectations around him, Lawrence has been disappointing. I'm not suggesting that Fields is the long term answer in Chicago. I'm not sure anyone can say either way considering the lack of a competent OC, OL, or WR rooms he's had since he was drafted. I'm suggesting that QBs need those things in order to be successful. Building a roster prior to drafting a QB has been the best recipe for sustained success in the NFL. The examples of this include Mahomes, Dak, Lamar, Love, Brady, Rodgers, Hurts, Herbert, Russ, Purdy, and the list goes on. The Bears rebuild really started last year, since 2022 was about Poles dumping the roster. Drafting a QB in 2024 feels premature.

      Remember when CJ Stroud was already labeled a bust for his S2 test and for coming from OSU? Fields has plenty of issues going into year 4 yet you wanna write off a prospect with good film for what? Do you even have any real red flags to point out? What is it? Painting his nails?💀💀

    • @Gray_Bush
      @Gray_Bush Před 3 měsíci

      @@24kenny30 Stroud has nothing to do with this. As nobody expected for him to perform as well as he did in 2023. I already said that I don't know if Fields is the answer do to the complete lack of support he's gotten over 3 years, outside of finally adding his first legit target to the WR room. As for Caleb's red flags, pretty sure the breakdown covered some of the on field concerns, but the real red flags are his inability to properly deal with adversity, and leadership qualities. He fails to shake his opponents hands after a loss, cries in the stands after a loss, avoids the media after a loss, he was even quoted saying, "I'm dealing with it emotionally, dealing with it spiritually and physically" when speaking about USC's 7-5 record. How do any of those things show he can handle the pressure's of playing in the NFL? Where things are going to be much tougher. Where every practice throw will be under the microscope. Where he will be contractually obligated to speak with the media, regardless of the games outcome. How do you think his NFL teammates will respond to someone that can't deal with adversity? He is about to be the assumed leader and face of a franchise. His former teammates seamed to rally around Miller Moss in their bowl game, against #15 ranked Louisville. Which had a top 20 defense in the country. "We finally a team" seems to speak volumes about Caleb's ego and focus on personal success over team success.
