It's because canceling isn't real. You either get to keep going as nothing happened, have enough money to go away because you don't want to be bothered, or you make your money on the side doing something else. All of these people are fine.

Back in the day I guess we “cancelled” people by just ignoring them, they’re output and just being done with them.
Now cancelling someone apparently means to keep taking a out them nonstop and making them more famous.
There’s tons of people that I wouldn’t even know who they are if it wasn’t for cancel-culture.

There’s some cancellations that are just stupid.. If someone did something years ago, and already apologized, and has visually changed throughout the years.. what more do they need to do? Forgiveness is something that people forgot all about. We’re all not perfect..

There's no such thing as cancelling, hence 'keep getting cancelled'. The closest you can come is an industry blacklisting you. The general public is under no obligation to give money to anyone they don't like, that's not 'cancelling'.
HALF of these people on this list I'm not even familiar with. Only ones that I know is Jimmy Fallon, Roseanne Barr, R. Kelly, Michael Jackson, Chris Brown, Shia Labeouf. I think that's a good thing to only know that many people on the list, LESS toxicity in my life.
When your show is still on the air & you're still getting paid, that is NOT being cancelled. This calling out of "cancel culture" has just turned into a rightwing grievance & it's getting ridiculous.

I think some of these cancellations are far fetched. We all act like we are perfect and that everyone else should be up to our standards. We are not. And we are not always right either. Nowadays if you have an opinion against the trend, you are “cancelled”. There are different nuances to every choice we make and there s a background that matters; but we stay with our remote in our hands and our phones in our laps acting all vigilante.

What amazes me is how much you can get away with if you have money and lawyers. Chris Brown should have spent time in prison for violating his parole commiting a hit and run. R Kelly got away with his crap for years. The average person with a public defender would have been in prison so fast their head would have spun. So how do you include Jackson without including the Square One documentary which is also on youtube (for free). I love Michael growing up and felt some type of way about Leaving Neverland, but watching Square One helped shed some light on actual evidence, recordings, and accounts that aren’t so widely shown or publicized.
Because much like his trial, the actual evidence and facts aren't as interesting as calling the greatest entertainer of all time, a monster.
