Oh what a beautiful sounding trip. Like I mentioned on Courtney’s channel, I’m living vicariously through y’all per vacations. We’re going through a spare bathroom renovation and me and my hubby have done everything up until now ( pulled everything out , like everything, stripped it down to the studs, new drywall, new ceiling, installed new shower pan, new shower walls, kilz, cut into the adjacent closet, made a floor to ceiling shelving unit behind the bathroom door….the works) but we decided we’re leaving all the tile work to a professional. We want that done correctly. My husband is a master framer but he knows nothing about installing shower tile. So the tile man comes on Monday, so I guess he will have a good vacation 😂😂 It’s all good though, I’ve waited patiently for 21 years to renovate that fugly bathroom. I’m serious Martha it was vintage but not in a good way. The bathtub was the original 1952 tub, the plastic / vinyl whatever it was , paneling on the walls was something from the 1960s, the laminate floors straight from the 1970s, and the brown wicker vanity had to be from the 1980s. I had decades of yuck in there. 🤣 I have no problem taking a late fall vacation after this. Colorado looks so beautiful. I love the red rocks! And the piece de resistance was the Stanley Hotel!!! Omg, I love that movie I think it would be so cool to visit. Sorry for the long rambling post, it’s Saturday I seem to be really chatty on Saturdays 😆 TFS and I hope you’re having a great weekend! 💕
Never apologize for the longer comments. I love to hear from you and hear what's going on. Remodels are tough but boy it's going to feel good when it's all done. You have been so patient waiting 21 years to renovate the bathroom! I'm excited for you and the outcome. Well worth sacrificing a little now, you can always take a vacation later.
How fun that you went to Colorado, my native hometown!! You visited all of my old stomping grounds. I spent many of my childhood days at Casa Bonita, I lived a block away when I was a young teen. The best venue on the planet to see a concert is Red Rocks, it's truly magical, I even saw Duran Duran there back in the late 80's. Very cool that you went to Estes Park and visited the Stanley Hotel, my husband and I spent the night there and went on a haunted tour 😁 I hope you had a great time!
Hey Julie! I had a fantastic time. The weather was great, the food, the locations, everything was fabulous. Looking back I wish I took my camera out to take more clips but oh well. I love Red Rocks. I almost went to see Duran Duran there last year. It's truly magical. We took the Shining Tour at Stanley Hotel, but the haunted tour sounds cool.

Wow that botanical garden is beautiful, I love places like that they are so calming. Wow that firework show looks like it was amazing. Wow that entire remedy collection sounds amazing, I love lavender and Ylang Ylang so I will be checking this out. I love Traders Joes, mine is close so I go weekly. I use their SPF and it’s pretty good. Great vlog Martha I love your vlogs. ❤
Thank you so much Aubrey! I enjoy making the vlogs but boy can they be a pain in the butt as well 😂. The fireworks show was the best I've seen in several years, it just kept going and going. I love Trader Joe's There are two nearby both about 12 minutes away. I enjoy going there but they are never on the way to places are going, so I don't go as often as I'd like. I have two grocery stores much closer and tend to go there for the basics. Trader Joe's is a special treat
Lovely trip! Colorado is definitely on my list! I’m from SoCal so we took a trip up the coast, we went to San Diego for a few days and then up to Tahoe for a few days. Also went to the big island earlier in the summer! ❤

I love my Nespresso! I've had it about 4 years now and it's my favorite. There is a Nespresso store about 5 minutes from the Trader Joe's that I go to so I decided to go in since I was in the area. I usually order online as well and they ship so fast.
